Btwww That Concept trailer Dance will forever and ever stay ICONIC in the history books🤷‍♀️🗣🗣🤌 HELP--- I remember learning it in 2017-ish and damn if that wasn't a good workout💀😭😂😂😂

Beckyboo⁷

Yay! I'm so happy you guys are getting through the albums 🙌🏾🙌🏾

bts

Yessss I looove the outro on this album!!! 🫶🏼

BForehand

So there is nothing wrong with getting into the music and I love that y'all do but both times y'all played the concept trailer... Neither one of you were looking at the dancing and missed a very iconic move kinda like the hat trick... I just wanted to let y'all know

Gray

Full album reviews my faaaavorite 😭 can’t wait to dig in

Daphne Schaffer

I was a little late but enjoyed going through this album with you guys. Thank you.

Noll⁷

Remember, when they filmed the concept trailer for the album, that was the day, when they pranked JK at his Birthday, as you saw it in The Rise of Bangtan. I always see JK crying and blowing out the candles, that one was so emotional 🥳💜😃 Nice and long reaction, I loved it. Thanks Borahae

LoveOT7

Awesome review 💜🎶💜

Chimmy Cricket

Thanks for the reaction. Though I think you forgot to go through the physical album as part of your album review, You have a copy of O!RUL8,2?, but you still haven't looked through it yet. You also haven't looked through your 2 Cool 4 Skool album yet either, which is the other album you've listened to already. I'd also like to make a suggestion for future albums. Why not start with doing the album reactions first (instead of the other way around with the songs first and then the album), with just listening to the lyric videos? Then do additional separate reactions afterwards, for the songs you're interested in doing a more complete deep dive into? You'll be able to better decide which songs deserve an additional reaction, based on which ones you liked after the first listen. And speaking of lyric videos, please use the color-coded ones, so you can see which member is singing or rapping. Without that, it can sometimes be hard to tell which member it is. Enjoy BTS More and AF Taehyung are 2 good YouTube channels to find lyric videos.

I remembered that as well when I was watching. I felt so bad for JK during that whole prank. 🫰🏻💜

Heather Miller⁷

J & J another great album review, I loved it. Keep going with the album review to be awaken to many hidden gems.

Pacific Pacific

You really made me warm and fuzzy in my heart with this review 💜💜 what a perfect way to spend a lazy spring saturday sipping on coffee, listening to early Bangtan with your conversation to make it even better 💜💜

Cherry Valens

Such a great reaction, thank you guys! 💜💜💜

leat

if i ruled the world i would make people respect each other and we would live in harmony with no violence. everything is possible if we stand together that is something BTS and Army has tought me so that´s what i would do.

leat

what are you guys talking about Jimin has the best eye smile all of the members agreed on that so hehe. remember the how well does BTS know each other interview?

Sharon

Wonderful job, as always!!

Selina T

I love outro: luv in school. Been waiting for you guys to react to that lol. I wish it were longer, gives me usher vibes :) their earlier albums, you can tell they were young and could be a little more mature, a little more polished, but as it was, it was still as you said, a masterpiece. you can feel the rawness, the authenticity and the hunger.

leat

what is each of your favorite album and song so far? you can only choose from the first two albums. if you can´t name 1 name a top 5. I bet it´s already so hard to choose but i am curious

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

Agh this reaction makes me HUNGRY FOR VOCAL LINE guys! This is why you’re both the very best at what you do. Breaking down “Coffee” shows just how much you compliment each other. Jared you feel the nuanced sensual elements of the music while Jordan you pick up the heart of the lyrics which is that “coffee “ references are used to describe the ending of a relationship which has memories of the sweetness in the beginning but leaves a bitter taste when it’s over. I think you’re right that we rely heavily on relationships and we leave it open to the possibility of reuniting because once you say it’s over, there’s really no going back from that. There’s a finality in that. (Expresso is made with hot water under pressure in a special machine and served in 1 to 2 ounce cups. Americano is Expresso topped up with hot water to dilute it. Both are usually served black and are very strong, sometimes leaving a bitter aftertaste). Unlike any other group, BTS structures their albums and solo mixtapes to be listened to in order from top to bottom and they seamlessly flow telling a story, sonically and lyrically. I feel that Yoongi has a distinctive, direct style, using few words to craft his lyrics. He can have the most beautiful, romantic (Just One Day), the rawest, cutthroat (Agust D, Cypher 3), heartbreaking (First Love, Like (I Like It) and hopeful (The Last, NEVERMIND) verses and songs that I didn’t fully appreciate before. I just bought this album and I love it completely. The Intro should be a philosophy for living your life. Maybe ask your dad not if he had a happy life but rather is he having and living a happy life because we all go through trying times , that’s what life is. Jordan I agree that “you have to have these-to take a leap”! That was spot on. Jared you know where I felt you. Thanks for this. Sorry I went on a tangent. 🤣😁🫰🏻🤌🏻💜💜🇨🇦

swathi m

There s reason why everyone else feared rookie bangatan.. they were that good, right from the start🔥🔥🔥💜💜💜💜

Veronica⁷

I loved this review. Thanks guys.

Dani Ellison

Thank you guys for helping me end a long day. I look forward to your reactions they give me an excuse to tune everything else out. I am gonna say this, I can not wait for album number 20 to watch you react to, and you know what I'm gonna say, PIED PIPER. If I ruled the world I would make Jared and Jordan react to PIED PIPER. Until next time, BORAHAE.💜💜💜

Been waiting from day one for this. OG ARMY here great 👵 grandma who LOVES OLD SKOOL BTS 💜 This and "Dark and Wild" are my two most played albums. Th3se two 💿 CDs live in my car. RM'S INTRO is such a powerful message and the whole CD is a bop, banger, and feel good that will elevate anyone's mood. BTS was brilliant from the jump. I cringe when some people say things like "BTS really grew from their early years". No! BTS was hip, cool, soulful, talented from day one deep deep roots were always there. Thay never changed the bloomed. HOBI'S LOLLAPALOOZA, SUGA'S D-DAY, JIMIN'S FACE, and RM'S INDIGO are pure OG BTS. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Jaeyi

Can't wait for you to slowly get to future albums! It gets better and better, especially starting from 'The most beautiful moment in life HYYH pt1' in 2015. From then on, it was impossible for me to pick a favorite

Laurie Brennan⁷

"If I Ruled The World" reminded me of when my kids were little and we would go on roadtrips (usually to a camping destination). We would sing the Bare Naked Ladies song "If I Had a Million Dollars" and we would take turns filling in the end of the line...If I had a million dollars, I would buy you a........". The kids would come with some hilarious options through the years, especially after they got older and more sarcastic🤣 Jimin is well known for his "eye smile". Several of the guys drink Iced Americanos. I believe espresso is thicker than regular coffee, therefore it would drip down slower. Thanks for another indepth reaction

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert
>>108981032

They won’t know who Bare Naked Ladies are 🤣🤣. That’s such a Canadian thing but a great reference. 🫰🏻💜🤣🤣

Chris Augustine

I am so glad you have finally been able to see the concept trailer for this album. When RM says If you can still feel your heart beating, what are you waiting for...get up!! it was like a light bulb moment for me. If you get the chance you should check out the dance practice for it because you can see the dance so much clearer in it.

Jaeyi

Reliving this era through your reactions, I suddenly remembered the times when I went into K-pop shops and struggled to find any BTS merch because they were so unpopular. It's so insane to recall those moments now that we're in 2023. It was so hard for them to get onto any variety show, and they were looked down upon, often cast to the sides and not acknowledged. Twitter was like a battlefield, other fandoms belittled us all the time, they gave BTS black oceans and middle fingers every time they came on stage. Bad things trended year after year. It was also revealed later that they were often not given waiting rooms and had to do their make-up and practice in front of public bathrooms. Other idols looked down and sneered at them, as confirmed by music show staff and a WayV member who recalled how diligent they were despite all of that. But what is incredible, is that they always found a way to overcome it. They started their own low-budget varieties, chose to post logs on YouTube to connect with fans, they've truly created a new standard and culture for the Korean entertainment industry. It was after BTS succeeded that people started posting behind the scenes, creating their own variety shows, posting group photos after schedules, using lots of backup dancers for dance formations etc. Even the lightsticks, they were the first to have Bluetooth central connected lightsticks that could change colour and form patterned formations during concerts. BTS was also the first to put English subtitles on their MVs. It was also very rare for groups to incorporate story-telling/plots in their MVs like continuing puzzles, they usually chose to put only choreography to catch attention. But BTS, despite not being popular and having low budget, was not afraid of trying and it led them to their first success in 2015 with 'I need you'. It's hard to illiterate how incredible this journey is. Even now, they've chosen a completely different method of enlistment. Other groups enlist one by one, only when they've reached the age limit, but BTS chose to all go at almost once and be back in the same year. This is unheard of. Because they want to be back as a team, so even though members like Jungkook/Jimin/Tae technically still have many years until they reach the enlistment age, they chose to enlist this year/early next year. Because they truly put the team first and truly believe that they're the best when they're all together

Danka Sakovic

J&J thanks for this!!! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Loved the review of the album! 😄 You guys got me laughing with your comments so much. 😄😄 In the reaction to Coffee... Every single time Jared started to sing "Baby, baby tonight" Jordan's right eye would squint 😂😂😂 I honestly love this album and listen to it more often then I realised. Thank you for your hard work! We all know you guys are going above and beyond to make these for us, so we appreciate you more then you could ever imagine. 🙏💜💜 BORAHEA! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

When I first found BTS through Dynamite I was completely unprepared to absorb a huge discography. I just appreciated that BTS were special and wanted to reward their talent & hard work by purchasing their songs that I liked. I soon realised I liked, and I mean loved, each of their songs so switched to buying albums - as it was obvious there were enough good tracks to warrant an album purchase. Even still, I was shocked that every single song was so good. When it came to their debut album, I remember thinking what foresight it was for Big Hit and BTS to produce such quality from the outset. These stand the test of time, serving as fitting introduction to BTS. Kudos to them for having this faith in themselves which has been proven right.

Nina

Concept trailer dance practice! You guys definitely have to watch it! (I’m only 20 mins in, in case you can’t tell 😅)

Ksenia

Did you noyiced that sound and some beats from Into was also used by Suga in his Shadow?)

soyaspinsxxx

Oooh you have no idea how much better it gets, and how many more genres you'll hear from them.. For example, you are yet to discover one of my favourite bangtan: Latin Pop Bangtan! 😍 A few things you might've have missed, all about intertextuality: Listen carefully to the beat of Intro O!RUL82?, it's what Suga sampled for Interlude: Shadow, like j-hope did for Ego sampling the Intro to the previous album, 2 Cool 4 Skool! A section of the next intro (Intro Skool Luv Affair) will also be sampled to create RM's Intro: Persona. Just another reason why the MOTS series is so goated. Also, on the topic of Intro: Skool Luv Affair, make sure to listen to the first few seconds of instrumental in Outro: Luv in Skool before you start listening to Skool Luv Affair's intro.. You'll see the continuity with the beat. It's amazing.

shelby🖤

if i won the lottery, i’d go buy the purple version of the astronaut that i keep forgetting to buy when i’m in target. i’d also get a little pink drink from the starbucks at the front. i’m being so serious too.

SNBangtan

Unpopular opinion: this is my favorite album. Coffee, If I Ruled the World, We On, N.O?? It’s ICONIC. And that line in If I Ruled the World, “Oh girl, oh where? Oh god, oh there! All the girls of the world are in Hope World, lined up.” Like yes, Jung Hoseok you know we are, King! 😍😍😍🥵

claudia lecusascu ⁷

little fun fact that I don't know if you caught... in the concept trailer with the dance break RM is actually rapping over the sample of Black Skinhead from Kanye West, I just caught it too

Kecia ⁷

It's crazy to think you guys are still in 2013! They asked the question in this album: what if Bangtan rises? It's 2023 now and we know the answer. :)

shan ng

Hey, thanks for the wonderful reaction! But I just want to point out that the song N.O is pronounced as "N" "O" and not "no". At least that's how bts pronounces it. I can't wait for the next album reaction :)

Kia

Ahhh I can’t wait for your Skull Luv Affair reactions. That album so good. Sooo many gems

Jenny ⁷

They were called “Monster Rookie” for a reason. Love you guys 💜

Eitan

Fun Fact: Nas has a song called "If I Ruled the World", from his 2nd album in 1996. Lauryn Hill sings the hook, it's one of his biggest hit singles. Probably not a total coincidence :)

RiRi's Nest

The intro melody to O!RUL8,2? is used in Suga's "Interlude: Shadow" throughout the song. :D if you listen to both these songs back to back you guys will notice how they utilized the same melody in both songs. Also, if you watch the Interlude: Shadow" music video 'O!RUL8,2?' logo is also seen towards the mid-end of the song, just around when the beat changes. I love when BTS does that!!! same with Jhopes "ego" and the intro to "2 cool 4 skool".

Zoe

god this concept trailer is just so freaking underrated

Amiii

Love your album reactions. 💜 Can’t wait to see your reaction to BTS’ albums LY:Tear and MOTS:7. 1:20:00 To answer your question, yes they performed coffee live. They performed it at the 1st Japan Showcase in Zepp Tokyo Concert in 2014 and at a radio show. I recommend to watch both performances, if you are interested. - Live Performance Zepp Tokyo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWQkRNHq5Gw - Live Radio Show: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uA407mNMcD8 We On, If I Ruled the World and Coffee are iconic songs and so underrated. Edit: I wrote it when I watched half of the video. I saw just now that you reacted to the live version at the radio show 😄

Pia⁷

IF I ruled the world,I would as soon as possible give my power to RM cause I know he would do a stellar job.

Anja⁷

Thank you both for this reaction. Coffee is my favorite song to starting my day. When I having breakfast I always listen to this song. It gives my sunday morning feelings only bc of the name. ☀️😁 Fun fact: every Outro is a little spoiler for the next upcoming album. Looking forward to the next album reaction! 💜💜💜

jordyn perry

I KNEW you'd love Outro: Luv in Skool. This was a great video guys 💜. Forever grateful for you two!

Daisy

I'm so glad yall reacted to "coffee"! It's one of my favorite songs by bts to the point that I remember the exact moment I first heard it and it made me immediately go onto ebay and buy a copy of this album just so I could physically own the song lol. (It was my first bts album, too! 😊) I love the comparison they all draw between the sweetness levels of coffee drinks vs relationships and I'm so glad that you liked the song and that you played the original and that radio performance since I had never seen/heard it before. So, thanks as always for sharing!

We truly appreciate this, and EVERYTHING you said was so well-written and spot on to say the least. Thank ya thank ya thank ya. 💜💜 We will have to ask our dad this new question that you proposed, we like this better.

LizP⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷⁷

Hello my favorite twins.....thanks for this reaction. I love this album cuz it holds so many songs that remind me of when I found BTS. Coffee and Outro: Luv in Skool are my most favorite tracks. As you guys continue to hear more albums you'll find hints to future songs just like the Intro was used for Sugas Interlude Shadow. Oh Jared, your mind bro (sweet scent on lips) 🤨🤨 lol I don't think I'd want the responsibility of ruling the world so, if I won the lottery I'd first pay for a years subscription to Army Gold tier to your channel 😄. Then id buy a house, pay my debts, my father's and brother's debts, put money away for my kids and travel starting with South Korea as my first stop. Love you guys, great video 💜🫶💜🫶
