Can't wait for the reaction, I'm so proud of JK. Was it a shock, kind of, he is grown lol and once I saw the feature I knew it was gonna be something. But I love this new side of him, I was left speechless for a good couple hours and then went to rant to my non-kpop listening friends lol. It was so full of JK comedy, I couldn't help but laugh, and be totally endeared. However, in the clean version, esp when you watch the MV, Latto just didn't fit for me. I felt she didn't add anything to the track, and her energy in the MV felt off base. Queue the explicit version. The way I screamed and hollered! /Now/ Latto makes /all/ the sense, and the song blends seamlessly. This is the only version that will grace my ears. #TeamExplicitVersion

Iโ€™m not ok. Not at all!!! I love it but when Cheryl sent me the link to the explicit version, I was speechless and freaking out at the same time! I could not believe my ears! I have to say, on the one hand, I love all grown-up JK and if this is his way of announcing to the world that he's not a baby and wants to be taken seriously, I think he made his point and I absolutely love his independence and courage to boldly go where no one else in BTS has gone before.... as he usually does! Okay, let's go through it one by one....I was not ready for this. The MV was so a combination of JK. I really liked that his essence was present in it. It was funny, cute adorable, sexy and God his voice sounded really good. I am still talking about the clean version. I personally loved the laundry scene cause he looked more approachable. Like don't get me wrong here. He just looked like a regular person going to laundry room in that half zipped hoodie that falls of his shoulders and his white tee in it. He looked more buff in this whole mv. I was laughing out loud when he woke up from the coffin and han sohee was so done....this song made me have even more higher expectation on guys. He didnt give up he showed and proved that he was worth it and the love . Now that's something one should be able to top and honestly no one can do it better than jk(probably gonna be single my whole life lol). And latto was amazing too. This is my first time listening to her and when I listened the clean version I was like he is talking abt love and she kinda made it about bedroom love. When I listened to the explicit version ....... I died just 2 changes in lyrics from loving u right to f...ing you right and from we can ride to you can ride that song completely changed the vibe and I was not ready. I fell from my chair listening to it and also my roommate was concerned cause I was shocked and silent for 5 mins and just replayed it again and then was screaming lol. None of us are okay!! I can't wait to see your reaction! The song dropped at 5am here in the UK and I'm not a morning person! I thought "oh he probably just drops some F bombs, how explicit can it be?" Listened and... OH. MY. GOD. I nearly passed out cold!! Kpop idols do not make songs like this! There are many many Army's who like to think of JK as the cute, innocent boy who debuted at 15. He's been quite vocal against this in recent years. The the MV is a perfect example of one partner going through something, (The weight of the world on your shoulders) you can see it by the earthquake, flood, hurricane, rain etc and everyone trying to escape but your partner, by your side, trying to support and love you and you pushing back and refusing and almost resenting it. He silently goes with her through everything, never physically touching her, until the end she reaches out her hand for his love and support, and once she does the rain stops and the thunder can be heard in the background fading away.

so far many of the members has shown a very grown up approach on the solo work. jimin in face off RM in change pt 2 and now JK in seven. i think they each have had a love life so far, and want to write about that. so i think chapter 2 is going to be very grown up talk. and i canยดt wait. i think they want to break the mold of kpop where you canยดt curse and use sexual or harsh words. I donโ€™t want to be a downer, Iโ€™m hesitant to say it, but this video gave me stalker vibes. She obviously was walking away from him and he just kept badgering her and following her, her reaction at the funeral showed how she felt. I canโ€™t get past the idea that this video is showing girls that itโ€™s ok for a man to harass them and stalk them and that they will eventually say yes even when theyโ€™ve been saying no the whole time, like they have no power. And showing men that no just means maybe and will eventually turn to yes. I really didnโ€™t like it. Am I the only one? But. I did like the song. Itโ€™s another banger.

I respect your opinion, but gonna have to agree to disagree. For me, the MV showed them in a relationship where they'd fight, break up and get back together. The weather imagery in the MV (in my opinion) is a visual representation of the tumultuous moments in their relationship, with him saying no matter what they go through, he'll be right beside her. I do understand what you're saying, but I don't think it was supposed to be him 'stalking' her. I think it was supposed to be a "you're angry at me for something that happened in the restaurant at the start of the MV, let me make it up to you" kind of situation, where they showed the lengths he'd go to for her and their relationship (he'd drown for her, get blown away in a hurricane, risk his life just to talk to her, etc.) Notice how the weather died down once they held hands at the end of the MV? The 'anger' in the storm had fizzled out, but not completely gone, almost showing that they knew there were still things to talk through and work on, but they'd do it together

I don't know if anyone has said this yet and I'm just now getting to J&J's reactions to Seven. But my friend and I were talking about the MV, especially the funeral part. That just didn't make sense to me and seemed so out of place and I wanted to figure out what was the intent behind that part. So bear with me. We think that the whole video after the restaurant is inside the girls mind. Like they obviously got in some kind of fight and she clearly knows he loves her, but the rest of the scenes are more about her not being able to get him off of her mind, so he keeps showing up wherever she goes. But, clearly he couldn't really be hanging outside of a subway or even walking on the subway. The scenes are full of disasterous things surrounding her so she is battling in her own mind what she should or wants to do and yet no matter what scenario she comes up with she can't get him off her mind. Then the funeral. Here she even tries to imagine him gone, but he still is not out of her mind and with Latto singing, the only female voice in the song and also the most suggestive lyrics (outside of the fucking of course) but her lyrics are very suggestive from a female perspective and we think that is actually her own desires being expressed. Like again she can't stop thinking about him and now her inner monologue is expressing her own desires to be with him. Then it's the end, and he's walking up to her as the storms subside and she decides to take him back and her expression is sort of like resolve that she isn't going to stop thinking about him so lets try to make this work. Anyway, just another way to possibly look at the video. It made sense to me and gave me a reason for the funeral scene that made sense.

I know I'm late to this but ---- Hell to the Yes I'm totally OK and I'm so proud of JK for telling ARMY and the world, he's a grown ass man!!!! I've seen this coming for months with him telling people on WeLive to not call him a baby and even more standing up to people telling the man when to go to bed and not to drink so much, it's sooooooooo annoying and I swear I hope that this ends the people who still think of any of BTS as boys because they are all men and should be treated as such and stop telling them how to act or what to do. Again, I am so proud of all of the for Chapter 2!!!!! It has been amazing and I'm here for all of it and more.
