ARMY, please send HELP!!!!

We’re falling deeper & deeper in love with “Seven,” and it’s becoming a real problem.

We’ve woken up on multiple mornings randomly singing, “Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday…”

We find ourselves doing one arm pumps at the GYM while listening to the song in our AirPods.

We stroll through the grocery store singing, “Every hour, every minute, every second, you know night after night, I’ll be f***ing you rightttttt…”

And we recklessly BLAST the song in the car with pedestrians everywhere!

How do we wean ourselves off of this addictive & tantalizing drug!?

HELP!!!!! 🆘 🆘 🆘 🆘 🆘 🆘 🆘

As always, we truly appreciate your love and support (WE’LL CONTINUE SAYING THIS UNTIL THE END OF TIME). Your subscription allows us to produce higher-quality reaction videos, and moves us closer to our goal of doing this full-time! Let us know if you have any questions, feedback, thoughts, etc. at any time! BORAHAE!! 💜💜

It’s an ear worm that’s become an eargasm and you don’t really want to be saved, do you? Didn’t think so. 🧐🤫😉

Steph

This song is about to get stuck in my head even more than it already is 😂😂

STRICKENGIBBON7

by the way im using husband account and wanted you to know his playing OSRS

STRICKENGIBBON7

you said it when you react to chakra OST if i remember it correctly that u both plyed OSRS lol

Freek Stap

If you do two more reactions of this song, you will be on ‘Seven’ reactions😆

Madison

"JK could play Spiderman" Oh you guys have entered peak ARMY without even realizing it lol. Spideykoo for the win!

Ku Nilsen

JK has always felt awkward acting, something he has expressed for years now. and while his acting was not at all bad, I can see he felt awkward and focused hard on trying to show the correct expressions. Maybe because I "know" him so well, it's easy for me and many ARMYs to see and maybe not as visible to people not as familiar with BTS and Jungkook as people. I just have so much respect for him trying out new things and challenging himself. He is a huge inspiration to me in that regard. He would rather die than live without passion. And as someone that lives with very little passion and breaks down quite easily when challenged. I look to JKs wisdom in such situations.

Maria

guys when will u finally watch MMA and MAMA performances?🥺🥺

Seneca

anyway if this song doesn't become a huge hit there is no hope for the GP 😂 go JK!!! 💜

Dee

Hey guys, what about him singing seven on weverse the explicit version? I hope you react to it next time plus his performances at BBC as well! Thanks

Bernix100

What a surprise when I saw shots from my country, Poland, in the clip for Seven Island!!!! 😍😍😍

Nightfall... explicit .... fav..🎵🎵🌌🖤💜

Amani ○°●•7

Jared Jordan ... you missed out on Jk's fantastic cover of Oasis "Let there be love" from the One studio performance. Most def a standout in content. 🎵🎵🎵🖤💜🌸

J&J when you find the cure let me know! How is it that one song can give you so many different vibes and put you in different mindsets? This is crazy and awesome at the same time!💜 I can't get it out of my head. I've listened to it so much, I've memorized the lyrics! Your reactions to the Seven videos are still the best! OT7 💜 x7

shelby🖤

it’s funny that you bring up jungkook playing spider-man bc that’s actually a thing amongst army. he’s just so much like peter parker and tom holland. we call him spiderkoo. there’s so many edits and fanarts of him as spider-man it’s insane. we’ve all said that we want him to be in the next spiderverse movie. my ranking of the remixes is 1) band, (y’all somehow missed that one😭) 2) lofi, 3) nightfall, 4) island, 5) summer, 6) festival tbh nightfall and lofi are equal it just depends on the day.

Kecia ⁷

I cannot stop singing this song!

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

With original, explicit and all the remixes, you can listen to SEVEN, 7 days a week and get hit differently each time. Does anybody know if it’s getting any RADIO PLAY because there’s really no excuse for it not to!! When you mentioned Ocho Rios, wow that was my mom’s favourite place in the entire world. I’m team explicit, team LoFi. Actually if LoFi had the explicit lyrics, the song would be perfect in my opinion. That’s just my vibe. Thanks guys. Try not to get arrested 😳🧐 🫰🏻💜🫰🏻💜😉😁🇨🇦

claudia lecusascu ⁷

when jk said he wanted to become a global pop star he meant, and these remixes are just that, a different sound for every corner of this earth. If you can't find one version of this song that you like then my friend you don't like music. Nightfall and Lofi are my jam, I could listen to them for hours on end but the original just hits different

Kitty Tomaszewicz

Hej yo! Polska obecna!

Yasssss you two are the best. I’ve really been enjoying the content editing lately too, kudos to whoever is doing that (both of you?) and letting us see more of you through the jokes and quips with each other too, it’s really fun. Thank you for all your hard work because it’s easing some of our days and hard times, just like BTS’ music does.

leat

there is many remixes of butter and dynamite one of them th tropical version you heard on lollapalooza. Like crazy also had a few remixes actually pretty good once compared to other remixes i have heard. but now seven have the highest numbers of remixes. i think it broke the record yesterday. it´s insane i bought it to help the chart but i think it´s a waste to make so many.

Cherry Valens

Ahhhh I love this song!🎵 If you are going to continue the JK Seven reactions, can you please please please do the Weverse live where he sang it (with a cold) acappella for Army! It was so good! https://weverse.io/bts/live/4-125230452

Ok, so I'm not 'seven'ed' out yet... buuuut I would have said getting close until you played the Festival mix and I have a renewed love! I am a dance mix diva all the way, all the time. Love this version and continue to love JK! I love your appreciation for the song and JK too. I have to admit though, while I'm not an anti explicit version, (the life I've lived would shock the hell out of both of you) and I can swear better than most truck drivers but it doesn't sit right for me to sing this explicit BTS song. I'm all for JK expressing himself and breaking through the maknea persona into the adult man that he is, and if this is how he felt he had to do it, he has every right. I'm not sure he HAD to do it THIS way. He and BTS are role models for youth, and I'm just not sure this is what our youth need to hear... He's been a sex symbol for a while now and you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who still thinks of him as a baby. I just don't enjoy hearing it come out of his mouth. The bottom line, freedom of expression is for everyone and I am thankful for it so I truly respect him for giving ARMY both versions. Part of why I loved BTS for my daughter and her friends was because the music was so much more- we could listen to it together without being uncomfortable. It was healing and helpful and personal and to quote Prince's eventual view of not cursing "respectful'. I'm not an old broad who can't tolerate or appreciate artistic expression, and I don;t want to be attacked by ARMY for having an opinion. I know there are others who feel the same, but often don't feel comfortable expressing themselves for fear of being shot down. If BTS has taught us anything, it is to SPEAK YOURSELF. If JK can do it, so can I, so can we all. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Hyland

i knew you two would like the nightfall and lofi mix :D

LIBBY WILSON

I'm team explicit too! The thing about this version, it sounds so daggone natural and not vulgar..but that's my opinion. I don't listen to the radio but I do listen to Spotify, Weverse, YouTube, and sometimes iHeart! I've been off radio for over four years. I have my Playlists and they have kept me company up and down the Eastern Seaboard from Florida to Massachusetts and mid USA. The music industry in the USA isn't as good as it use to be just like television. I just use the internet. I really don't miss either one! OT7 💜 x7

Sorcha Baty

I love all the remixes but Lofi is my favorite!

Jordyn

Out of the 4 new remixes, Nightfall and Lofi are definitely my favs too 🤩. I can't wait to play them with heavy bass in the car.

Saphy

OMG guys. Your reaction gave me LIFE! I didn't know I needed to see you both lose it with the two different mixes. I was living vicariously through you and now my mind and body appreciates these mixes in a whole new way. Thank you for being free and authentic with us like this. I loved the hour, the minutes and the seconds I shared with you 💜 (see what I did there? - just thought I'd get on the bandwagon. Everyone's making it a catch phrase now).

Mayela Castro

💜 Apobangpo!

Beth Elliot ⦿ ☰ ☲

Hi Cheryl, sadly I don't think it will play here in the UK on the major radio stations (even the clean version) I have to listen to the radio stations (Heart and Magic etc.) every day at work and they never seem to play much new songs and certainly not by foreign artists even if it is in English 🧐🥲😒 it is what I find most frustrating about radio in general, hopefully there will be some smaller stations though who are willing to promote BTS and other lesser known great artists music or even better hopefully that will change and they become more open-minded 💜😊

Mayela Castro

Apobangpo !!....💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

-Mac-

Hi 2J, I cannot help you wean yourselves from SEVEN as I'm in the same situation. I play it constantly, I have 6 of the 9 versions on my various playlists, and the explicit is on each at least 3 times. I am usually blasting the song and singing along at the top of my lungs. JK seriously has caused me problems, though. I work with children and there is an entirely different "days of the week" song I should be singing! The drop in the Festival version wasn't hard enough; we didn't go up high and enough they didn't strip it down enough, BUT the way they framed up Latto was perfect. My Jamaican heart is grumpy. I really need Bighit to have an actual islander produce their "Island" remixes, or am I asking too much? The notion that it was a touristy version of "Island" is spot on! I wanted to hear a dancehall mix under the explicit version, complete with a booyaka and a big-up horn a few times. 🤣 That would have been so fire! The strings and bass in Nightfall version and the drums? Yeah, no complaints. I would totally go for a late-night drive with my bass bumpin'. I laughed so hard at your reactions to the Lofi mix. Jared, I'm you; I also tapped out after hearing it, I was so done. JK stomped me a few feet further down under my grave. I have to say, it was comforting [and hilarious] to see y'all react the way I did, though. Jimin's Like Crazy has 2 remixes and an instrumental as well as the Korean and English tracks on the actual album, giving the song a total 5 versions, you can find them here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_ntE84gNR8SVqrSm38Zpr3R9BnXUwXpyok Car test! YES! So good, thanks, guys! My friends and I thought it would be fun to rate the remixes; this is my, current, [it keeps changing], ranking: 1- Explicit 2- Lofi 3- Nightfall 4- Summer & Festival [these 2 flipped so much I gave up] 5- Band [Stage remix! I love it] 6- Instrumental 7- Clean [I'll explain below] 8- Island So the reason the 'clean' version ranks so low is that all the remixes use it, so there are other more interesting versions of the less explicit track. -Mac- P.S. I didn't know my ears worked quite so well; I can hear something underneath your voices when you're speaking. Sounds like running water to me. I nearly went insane looking for it in my home, then realized it was coming through my headphones. Did y'all have a fan, or a tabletop waterfall running in the room during recording?

Bernix100

Heloł 🫰 Jaki ten świat mały 😊 Może kiedyś doczekamy koncertu JK w Polsce😉

Ku Nilsen

I love the explicit version, but I do understand its not for everyone. And as long as people arent getting mad or hating on the explicit version, I see no reason why anyone would attack anyone for their opinion. Its sad.

Suvi

There’s still Summer mix and the Band version. I don’t remember if you reacted to those too but hopefully have heard them at this point anyway. 🫰🏻 Ps. My favorites are Clean version and Festival mix.

Valencia Begay

You know, there are a lot worse things to sing and think about! Enjoy! 💜🫶🏽👍🏽🫰🏽😊

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

What you’re hearing in the background is the filter of the large aquarium/fish tank in the house they’re staying at. It gives everything an ASMR vibe to it these days. There’s nothing wrong with your hearing Mac! 😁🫰🏻💜🇨🇦

-Mac-

But, I wanted to do that sound so much harm! I've never understood that aspect of my wife's misophonia quite so viscerally until last night. I usually can react quickly to sounds that make me crazy, clicks can be so awful I'm moving [snatch things outta hands] before I can even think, but that sound made me wanna fight because I couldn't find it nor stop it. 😭 It was bearable once I figured out it was the video but boy howdy, I was a bit twisted.🥴

Cheryl ⁷ Lambert

It’s been there for several videos lol. I don’t know if they can tune it out 🧐😁

Precious

Bangtan Tv also released the “Band Mix” around the same time if not the same time as the “Summer Mix” and on Spotify there is also a “Weekday Mix” and a “Weekend Mix.” I must say that I love them all! “Seven” is one of those songs that you cannot mess up. There’s also a Spotify “Ball-terview” that you need to check out. He gives us more insight on “Seven” and what is next to come from him…so yeah, a lot of content. He said in his resent live that his promotion for “Seven is officially over for now so we are enjoying everything JK right now. Thanks for the reaction video as always. Borahae 💜💜💜

Kia

I really really love experiencing music with you two. I be jumping like it ain't never heard the songs before because y'all reactions get me hype. I was same with Nightfall mix when I first heard it and the LOFI mix oh I lovee it. I especially love the phone effect on latto's verse. SO ADDICTIVE. Anyways as always thank you 2J! Much love and support 💜💜

-Mac-

It's seriously the first time I've heard it. So my ears don't work nearly as well as you think. LOL

D Daniel

You know what, I feel you on that funeral scene. When I saw the MV for the first time, I felt some kind of way frfr and was like no, don’t even play like that!😂For one, it was totally unexpected. I was expecting him to do another daring fete like jump out of plane or something lol and I was like wait, JK is in a casket, did this trick kill him?!?🤣But I got over it after I saw he ended up being his goofy JK self and started singing to her in the casket 😂 He really does need to see himself as an actor from that scene alone!

leat

Guys JK did it he is nr 1 on billboard hot 100 it´s the 8 time BTS and the members has topped the chart. it´s wild to think about

LaNita Starr⁷

Guys guys guys.... the Nightfall Mix reaction. You are me 👉🏾👈🏾 I am you! That was my reaction at Midnight! Love love love... even over Explicit 🫢 I always love the sketches and learning their thoughts, but the song had me at hello so it was just a bonus! You guys on Island version.... I was dead.. thats my most replayed moment 🤣 This song gives me an eargasm no matter what version because of JK vocals... but Nightfall makes me melt HARD! The vibe is real. Love you guys and this reaction 💜💜💜Borahae💜💜💜💜

IfraH

GUYS fandom hug!!! JK is n 1 on billboard hot 100! He's the second korean soloist to ever top the chart. BTS, Jimin and JK are the only korean artist to ever top the bb hot 100 chart. JK is also simultaneously n 1 on BB 200 chart, and BB 200 global excluding US. He is the only korean artist after BTS to top all three charts at the same time

IfraH

BTW J&J I thought you reacted to the interviews that Jk did as well

Cara

I absolutely love the Weekday versions too (Summer mix and Band ver.). Those might be my faves. You guys should check them out too! :)

Angie7

How do you wean yourself????You don’t that’s why Army is so big😂😂😂😂🤣🤣💜💜💜💜

Kitty Tomaszewicz

Och tak! Trzymamy kciuki, zaklinamy i manifestujemy! 😁

Kirssy Mago

I enjoyed this so muchhhhh. I feel like these versions represents the rest of the members and their style.

SherryLuvsBTS

I just love watching you two listen to music, it's like a physical activity for you and it's so fun to watch you fully immerse yourself into each version. Just a few things - I'm pretty sure that the MV shoot was 3 days. I'd say that's pretty typical or even 2 days, for a MV shoot. While I'm not going to say it's not possible they did some of the shots in one take, that is not very common at all. There are usually multiple takes in order to get different camera angles to cover the entire setting, so I'm pretty confident in saying that that laundromat was drained at least one time and everything was restaged and they did at least 2 takes. But, I could certainly be wrong, I've been on sets for movies and TV and it's incredibly boring to a certain extent, because most of the time is spent setting up and rehearsing with then usually a rather quick couple of takes. Having said that, the rehearsals for scenes like that are very pivotal because special effects are sometimes hard to restage. So, I have seen times when they say, ok we gotta get this in one take because it's an explosion or something. But, anyway, that was 3 very long days, I'd guess at least 12 hours a day. If you remember when he did the lying on the ground scene and in between you could hear a dryer in the background, not only do they usually have dryers for that reason and often for BTS during concert breaks it's to dry their sweat off, but they also usually have multiples of their outfits. I'd venture to say this was no different. I absolutely love watching the behind the scenes videos because like you said, it just gives you more appreciation for the work that goes into everything they do. I think all of BTS do very well with their acting in MVs, I'm not sure how that would translate to actual film or TV, other than Tae, because he's done it already. I think they'd all do wonderful because they'd each work their asses off until it was perfect, but I'm very sure that some would have harder time than others. Now for the remixes. While yes it is wonderful that they do these remixes to appeal to wider audiences, there is also a very definite strategy behind the remixes. I remember you guys watching a video on how BTS is basically snubbed or Billboard is continually changing the charting rules each time BTS hits the charts to try and stop that from happening, because BTS does not participate in payola (paying radio stations to play the songs, or streaming services to put the songs on predominant playlists). And the remixes are a strategy to help ARMY with getting them to chart. It's a long discussion, so I will try to be brief, but basically the streaming sites filter streams, this means that (and ARMY does this) you can watch the streams when a new MV comes out and see it going up and up and up by the hour and then all of a sudden it will freeze, they say to "validate" the streams, but then you will see a dip in the streams. There have been times when the streams were super close and maybe even less than the likes - how is that possible??? Anyway, they claim to filter or delete streams that look like a streaming farm or computer just set to play but never interact with the playlist. This has made ARMY get very specific about how we stream. We NEVER loop a song because they filter those - yes I think it's stupid because it's actually hard for me not to loop a song I love especially the first few days. But, knowing how important streams are for BTS charting, I stop myself. Twitter ARMY is very encouraging and mindful to interact with your streaming service at least every few hours, that can be skipping a song, playing a song again, commenting on song, or liking a song - just something to prove you are not just a computer, but an actual listener. This is where the remixes come in. Every remix that is streamed counts is bundled together. So it doesn't matter which remix you're listening to it will count for "Seven". This is so essential in streaming because it allows us to basically loop but because it is a different song title they don't filter it out but when the streams are totalled they are combined at the end of the day. So a person can have a playlist that just plays all of the Seven remixes back to back for hours (many do this and many play them overnight) and the streams will be less filtered. This is the same for buying. After Like Crazy hit #1 on billboard Hot 100, the very next week they completely threw out 100k of unit sales, we didn't understand how or why they did it and ARMYs have been testing to figure that out. We think we know now. Then right before Seven they announced they would no longer count digital sales from the D2C sites (direct to customer). This is where many ARMY buyers would buy the songs because it was easier, but now we can't because they won't count for the charts. This meant we had to go to Amazon, ITunes, and Qobuz, all of which are harder to set up new accounts, in order to continue to buy the single throughout the tracking week. Twitter ARMY works very hard to get the guys to chart. I know people who you could say it is a second job for them to buy and stream and I know people with thousands of accounts on each site. This used to not be as difficult until the put a limit of 4 buys for physicals. However, just like with the streaming, buying the digital remixes all are grouped together. So this allows for one person/one email to buy Seven 9 times instead of just 1, that saves ARMY so much time. If you pay attention the remixes are even strategically released. The first remixes usually at the end of the 1st tracking week, to just get that extra boost in sales and streams right before the end of the tracking week, and then those next remixes were released soon after to help with this second tracking week. Buying and streaming ARMY LOVE when they release remixes for all of those reasons, because the truth is that Billboard weighs radio play the highest and we know BTS doesn't get radio play, so we have to work even harder with buying and streaming to even remotely stand a chance to chart high. Seven is getting a little more radio play, but NOTHING like songs with labels that use payola. It is so obvious when you see the numbers. it was maddening when after Like Crazy hit the #1 it still was barely getting radio plays. Like how does the #1 Hot 100 song not get played as much if not more than the #2 song, right? But it never does for BTS and Like Crazy and Seven were both english songs - so no excuses, except it doesn't matter because BTS will never stoop to paying for their success. Besides they know ARMY always works hard and figures out a way to beat those people, just like we did with Seven. It is predicted that Seven will fall hard, not as bad as Like Crazy did because they really were sneaky with deleting 100k of sales after the week ended, but ARMY is working so hard right now to try and keep him in the top 10. But at the moment we are fighting unfortunately with a song that has become a political juggernaut and has lit a fire under the conservatives to buy the song. But we're not giving up. So, if anyone reading this hasn't bought every version of the song on ITunes, and/or Amazon, we'd love it if you are able to, to do it. This week closes at 11:59 EST tonight. And if you're reading this and it's after that, still it will help for next week. So sorry for a little bit of ranting, but the way Billboard does the guys is just disgusting and if I didn't see it myself I'd never believe it. But, I thought I'd just let yall know another reason for the remixes. The remixes for Butter is one of the reasons it was able to stay #1 on the charts for so long, but from my understanding a LOT of changes occurred after they couldn't get Butter off the charts. Anyway, loved you're reaction as always. Hope you're having fun in L.A. Borahae 💜💜💜

Bwana

Borahea 2u2🙌🏽. This is the first time I've seen it broken down and explained so well that it makes sense and easy to follow. I'm that ARMY that can't afford to put loads of $$$ towards the album sales so I make it up in being that ARMY that streams and streams to where it counts. I'm going to share this breakdown with my chat groups because every time I encourage them to "GET TA STREAMING EVERYBODY" I'm never quite sure they are understanding the correct effective way of doing it. 🙌🏽💜

Dirho

I still enjoy the radio “clean” and explicit versions. I HAD to add the nightfall and lofi mixes to my playlists because their vibes just hit perfectly.
