Critical the 95

Next tournament goku will be 18, it's been years since I watched dragonball. But watching these now brings so much nostalgia

You’ve got 6eps of filler after this, but that next tournament is peak

Calling the extra training that goku and the others do a filler is slander. Luffy searching for dragons was filler. Naruto literally doing a million recap eps or the same story from someone else’s POV was filler. Ichigo having 50 episode archs with people never in the manga was filler .We’re not gonna call dragon ball or Z training eps as filler. Like its all part of the story and even added context from akiras early interviews. Don’t we like sbs stuff getting animated.

It’s an unfortunate, simple explanation Brago this is during the creation period Toriyama wasn’t good at plotting ahead as Oda is, you will see it as you go along where things get retconned, or certain situations to happen in the future don’t make sense because of previous situations but I think, reading his work helped Oda to be somebody who, at least tries to be consistent as often as possible. It doesn’t take away from Toriyama ability to write but there’s numerous occasions where things happen and he consistently retconned things. Obviously more recently with Buu not being created by Bibidi. It’s a habit that he does a lot.

Crazy he calls it a “minor technicality” which is pretty major for plot going on for the entirety of the series, Dragon Ball, DBZ, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Daima so like I said, certain things that happen right now, and then certain things in the future that happen that makes this not make sense(because in no way, shape or form, is that a minor technicality)😂

Idk raftel never maid sense till we heard it called laughtale and why it’s named that. It never really made sense some weak wizard like bibidi created a being as strong as buu

But I think diama was another failed attempt to resell kid goku so that’s it’s own thing

My thoughts on why not going to kill piccolo rn is because Kami will die too once that happens so he at least wants to teach and train Goku before that happens to entrust the safety of earth to him once Kami is gone

Oda is not good at planning. Gear 5 is one of the biggest retcons in shonen, and it single handedly destroyed the reputation of the end game antagonists. They basically let this guy roam free without applying pressure for 1000+ chapters. I don't think anything in Dragon Ball is that jarring. As for your question Brago, Piccolo is stronger than King Piccolo. This is explicitly stated in the manga. The dub omits certain details. Hope this clears things up.

Also he said it was minor for a very specific purpose. Don't think any One Piece fans have actually read Dragon Ball. I knew Brago's comments would be full of nonsense from that side.

Wait, so let me get this straight you say I don’t actually read dragon ball yet you still liked my comment if it’s nonsense why did you like it?🤭😂

Out of every single retcon Oda has made that you could’ve chosen you chose laughtale the nonsense retcon from a movie at least choose a better retcon😂
