Pain

here we go! fun fact. this is the highest rated episode of the entire series, with a perfect 10/10 on imdb

Guppy

That phone call was walt giving Skyler an out with the cops, in case you didn't realize.

vulpre

You can feel Brago’s heart sink when Hank gets shot 😭

vulpre

The last 15 mins of this episode is HEAVY man no matter how many times I rewatch it.

Pain

one thing alot of people miss in the phone call at the end with skyler. walt was basically using himself as a scapegoat for skyler's sake. he is smart enough to know that the cops would be there so he kept saying me, me, me, i did everything, what would you know about it. making it seem like he was the manipulator. also using the abduction of his daughter and he even pinned the death of hank on himself. still alot of his choices are questionable but he still loves his family.

Jose Morel

I love how in the end he made the right choice and protected Skylar

Brago D Ace

I realized it after the fact but at this point there are no outs. This is exactly what Skylar was afraid of this entire time, somebody close to them getting hurt. I’m sick.

Slicewinds

My only real grip with Skylar is that she let it get to this point by not going to the cops sooner. Walter was not always this dangerous nor was skylar always scared of him.

Brago D Ace

She wasn’t sure what to do the entire show. Yeah, the easy answer is to go to the cops but she knew the impact it would have. She tried man, if there’s Skylar hate I do not understand it.

Yui

I hope the plan is to watch El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie and then Better Call Saul

Ace Adame

really hoping to see you watch Better Call Saul after this

Artemis

Shout out to Anna Gunn, who played Skyler White in Breaking Bad, won an Emmy Award as supporting main actor, Skyler White, specifically for her performance in this episode.

Artemis

You noticed that throughout this show, most phone's that were used were flip phones so when the guy says "that fancy phone", that was actually an android smart device. This was back in the day where they were not very seldom used in tv.

Artemis

Nope not quite lol brago. The scene were holly said "mama" was unscripted because her real mother was standing off camera. If you look very closely you can see the baby pointing over Walter’s shoulder but because it fit so well for the context of the scene they were portraying in the show, they chose to keep it.

Artemis

I don't think brago understood the point of the phone call scene. Walt's phone call to Skyler was a performance (play acting) intended to make Skyler appear innocent to the police who were listening in. He knew the authorities would be scrutinizing Skyler's involvement in his criminal activities. She would be deemed an accessory to his crimes, and this would just put her and her family in a very bad situation so to remove that, walt made it seem like he was the villain. Skylar caught on eventually that’s why her "Bring her back" line was partly scripted in the story, to the audience to make it seem like she was out of character. What makes this scene even more significant is that it was used in a different context, much early on when they were trying to learn how to read a script and use theatrics to create a false narrative of walt winning gambling winnings for his brother-in-law hank during Season 4. So they deffinitly had practice Only 2 episodes left to go.

Artemis

Yep and thats partly attributed to Anna Gun's performance here when her earlier performances like during crawl space, were not nearly as good. But thats what sold the scenes so well.

Chief3stacks

Fun fact when Walt is rolling the barrel you can see his pants that he lost in the desert from the very first episode

M_A_G_N_E_T_O

😳Didn’t even click to me during the scene

M_A_G_N_E_T_O

I hated Walt for the past 2 seasons. He is still wrong however it felt so good to see Hank and Jesse lose, EVEN better to see Marie’s arrogant ass get shut up. Even during the Skyler knife scene I asked myself why tf Skyler would dare swing a knife at Walt for hanks sake? Considering he’s Walt’s enemy. And then Walt jr calling the cops man. I just felt myself rooting for Walt these past 2 episodes ironically enough

Yaboiaustin

I hope this is rage bait
