So super sayian is a multiplier effect it’s not like it starts at some random quantifiable power level. It also has grades for super sayian 1 which is where you get better forms still considers ssj1 and then the ascended forms(ssj2,ssj3,ssj4). Ssj1 grade one is a multiplier of 50x. So when goku comes out stronger than vegeta, and we use the context clues of when he’s sandbagging and by how much you’ll see no amount of zenkai boosts was helping vegeta. He needed the multiplier effect of ssj1. So if he’s over a million already and needs it to be at least 50x more were alreadyy at 50mil power levels in this arc(it’s actually more). Ginyu but after the body swap, Capt. Ginyu couldn’t figure out how to use Gokus full power, and Vegeta being merciless, wrecked Goku‘s body Causing Goku to have a huge Zen Kai boost While , he’s in the healing chamber. Vegeta, seeing how unstoppable Goku was, mistakes Goku‘s new power for being a Super Sayian and thinks one more life-threatening fight and zenkai boost will push him over the edge to be where Goku is And can save himself from Frieza who’s power at his arrival and in his first form was 500,000 the strongest on the planet and universe until Piccolo arrives, combined with nail comes to challenge him as the second strongest in the universe. And although Frieza has no reason to worry, and is completely unaware of Goku. “Beware of the Sayian with Golden Hair” Frieza was warned that although weak the Sayian race could eventually grow strong enough to oppose him and he became aware of the Lore in Sayian culture.

I remember a core memory watching this episode after school as a kid, and seeing the slow motion Freiza blast going to each character & I had NO idea it would be Dende. I must have missed the title card lmao I thought it was gonna be either vegeta or gohan i'm pretty sure

Idk if I take the beweare the sayian with the golden hair if it’s from the completely fan made 20min bardock ep that’s presented as an epilogue to the special episode where he fights freezas ancestor but it was great quality animation and until the owners of DB go over why freeza feared sayians its a great theory. I think freeza just realized a planted full of people who get 10x power boosts in the ape form and all of them kept slowly getting stronger it might’ve taken a few hundred years but eventually that race would dominate. So as he said he whipped them out and kept a few as useful controllable pets like vegeta

No I agree with you but it’s awesome 😎🤣 it’s only a theory but I mention it because it was done well enough to fit into the story even though it’s not canon I hate to dismiss the effort and although it would have taken multiple generations for the Sayians to beat Frieza as a group much less one individual Frieza is always irked by Vegeta hearing it which to me although Vegeta probably says it every morning with his coffee Frieza has hear the legend somewhere else

Also we forgot vegeta with the ape form on earth was also stronger than ginyu. He was 180k in that form cause it’s a 10x boost. Gokus spirit bomb there was listed at 200k but it’s not his power it was the planets.
