the reason he cant speak is cus his believer see him as the silent killer like u seen in the post when he started getting famous. so homie has lost the ability to speak

snoop415

thats y the wife like lets get away from this hero shit so we can start a family n u can talk

Tobu

These powers can have some crazy drawbacks. The faster he was able to cut and less able he was to speak. A true silent assassin in the worst way

Lash

The black and blue monster that ghost blade was looking at is the same beast that appeared during the end of Queens arc when she was on the road trip with lucky cyan. Also like other commenters stated trust value can be very controlling. Since Ghost Blades fans view him as a cool stoic and silent assassin. The trust value quite literally limits his ability to speak and express his emotions, which are things he already sucked at. To provide other examples in previous arcs Ling Ling started to develop OCD the more he became like Nice because Nice’s fans view him as “perfect”. Firm Man couldn’t sit down or bend his knees bc his Fans viewed him as a hero who never falls down. Moon couldn’t use her powers to their full ability bc the fans always wanted her to be at Nices side which is why she could only teleport to him.

Nerf Up

I love how they intertwined two different versions of dads who chose their jobs or profession over family and in two different ways.
