Jester is a Dead Apostle. Which are pretty much vampires in the fate world. Your first introduction to them would have been in fate zero when we flashbacks to Kiritsugus past. When his dad was researching immortality and turned on the villagers( the little girl Shirley who was friends with Kiritsugus you probably don’t remember) into a Dead apostle which led to Kiritsugu killing his dad. In the fate world Dead Apostles are the world’s answer to Humanity. They were pretty much created as the counter to humanity. Which is why jester explains while he’s not stronger than a servant. He’s doing better against the police than his servant was because they’re humans.
