Personally im fine with the ending didn't have high expectations. Modulo being a sequel was leaked when first chapter was about come out. So I didn't expect much. Its definitely good read my only gribe is offscreen debura vs maho fight. I think feeji said the best on his reaction stream. This feels like actual ending for JJK gege wanted. Gege definitely was burned out from og thats why we got rushed last 5 chapters of og JJK. This feels like actual closer to the story. Like repping up the whole kenny and Yuki convo ( world with CE optimization or without). The merger and other things ppl had criticism on og jjk like politics didnt go anywhere. While in here he brought thsoe things back and give it a closer. Maybe not perfectly. But well enough. 7,5 or 8 manga for me tbh. Im not gonna be to harsh on it gege said its only gonna be 25 chapters anyway.

I’m pretty much fine with this ending . I feel like some of the criticisms for modulo comes from folks refusing to accept the statements that were made prior to the first chapter coming out. We already knew that this was going to be a short terms spin off that wasn’t going to be as heavy as jjk. First chapter came out September 8th and the last came out march 8th exactly 6 months like we were told. I think ppl deluded themselves into having higher expectations for something that wasn’t going to be as long running.

Brago I get where your coming from but I think this is a “jjk 0” for the new series. The scans had an extra message from gege that said there will be a new work from the both of them. Also, I think that there will be a new power system that focuses on barriers, cursed tools, physically gifted people. Maybe the mc will be the exception and somehow eat yuji’s cursed object. Its going to be set hundreds of years in the future, after yuji dies, so the aliens will be fully integrated into society. Plus that ending with yuka and the chef is sus. It might be something completely new but still in the jjk world. However i may be coping and its just over, but I think this is all set up.

He didn’t Kill CE he just limited it. When your soul passes through that limbo place Maru was talking about they remove your cursed energy. So going forward anyone who would have had a high amount of CE would have it striped before birth giving them a HR. And these ppl would help with the elimination of cursed spirits.

They didn’t remove all cursed energy, but they are going to strip everyone down to the minimum, like people overseas. Thats why curses will still exist in the future, because it still leaks and exists. They are accomplishing this by, during pregnancy changing their souls, when it enters the mortal plane, through that realm. However, heavenly restriction occurs before that. Remember in jjk, mahito said that everything about you is based off your soul and then your body forms around it. The universe itself takes away your CE from your soul and gives you physical powers before you go through the soul realm. That soul already had its CE stripped before it goes through and the physical gifts are going to be given. The soul realm originally was a final passageway to the mortal realm and the heavenly restriction was already imposed before it even gets there.
