Yea it wasn't until the colorized edition of the DBZ manga and in the Daizenshu (official DB encyclopedia) came out, it wasn't a part of the B&W manga at the time

exactly man.. i remember when dbz would come on cartoon network w rockin the dragon intro, never made it past after frieza kills krillin & goku goes super saiyan and they fight for two episodes 😭

Yeah Toonami was real bad about starting over, once they ran outta eps. I remember DBZ, Naruto, Bleach and Inuyasha started over like every 4-6months depending on how many eps they ran a day or week
