Real good talk. I personally didn't see the criticism on X but if it gets to the point of name calling and labeling you things you're not, just know your core community knows what the context is/better understanding of how to rebuttal points in a way that isn't so vitriolic. Its important to reflect and also to set boundaries. Ultimately the most important thing for stories is for us to feel something, and I imagine for content creation, is to build a core audience that loves discussing the interests we share. Keep that love and passion alive cause that's what truly makes a strong community!

I think the best way to combat clipping and being misinterpreted is to just continue being who you are. Like you said, you can’t please everyone and no matter how much you break or dumb something down, someone out there may still perceive it differently. It’s almost an inevitability, so just be true to who you are and your own values. While you can’t make everyone happy, you can continue to be authentic and that’ll stand the test of time far more than an out of context clip. The most accurate version of yourself will be seen by those who truly care and are ready to see it. It’s also easier to manage mentally since you’ll never have to worry about being something you’re not just to appease someone that just wants to feel vindicated in their opinions opposed to hearing what you actually have to say. Either way appreciate these kinda talks Brago, you always got my respect for the type of person you present yourself to be, much love brotha. 🫡

man i feel this heavy but more so from the outside looking in. i dont work in a place where im forced to see people on the internet, so in that case i cant relate. however i look at people on the internet and it seems like people never give constructive criticism. in fact it feels like people never try to have a genuine interaction with someone, its always ragebait or insults. some people are so wrapped up in their own opinions that anything you gotta say is considered ragebait. and its so annoying when someone tries to start drama over a joke someone made in a 20 minute video or 2 hour livestream. anyways love the content brago, im not a big one piece guy myself so i dont be watching all the time. but i love the passion you have for the series you talk about, ive been working my way through the yuyu reactions and it always puts a smile on my face when i hear that intro "HERE WE GO YALL, YUYU HAKUSHOOOO." im wishing you happiness dude

i'm late to this vid, but all i can say is, i've just learned to never take anything said on twitter seriously. People sit on that app all day talking about things or people they dont know, and its like, there is genuinely no care in my body for opinions said there, Majority dont watch or know you enough to know when you are joking etc etc, people arent there for genuine conversation. Ive never been a content creator, but ive watched many throughout the many years, and they all somewhat go through the same stuff. It doesn't help at all that people get paid to essential make these bait post now either being dense on purpose or antagonistic, etc. Nuance and context doesn't exist there and its shunned when it shows up... Ik its harder for content creators bc using social media is essential for just reaching more people, but me personally, niggas on twitter can stay where they are, i would never want to reach people who are chronically online over there. But i def get what you are saying, and unfortunately that's just how things are right now. But id say fuck those niggas all day every day.... They are fr only clipping you bc they know you are loved and liked by many people, your opinions hold weight to a lot, and for others it creates jealousy or whatever else, and your name brings engagement, so no matter what it is they clip, they'll frame it so it gets likes and comments, Mfs at this point should know, there is more context to things, and if they dont care to look, idc what they have to say lol. I just really despise that Godforsaken app, it has no benefits that are worth staying or enduring whatever happens there and unfortunately this is bleeding into other platforms. its easier said then done, but ignoring and focusing on the people and things you enjoy, itll feel like nothing else is happening elsewhere, especially when knowing that some of the other stuff is complete BS

the amount of times ive seen people call others names or a label for something they said or a joke, and i was even there before it got clipped, a lot of things on the internet are crafted for people to get mad at, when the original context or convo was nothing like it was framed in a "clip or "post". And don't try to be someone reasonable who knows context, bc you'll get the same treatment lol... for example, recently the funniest things to me has been people calling someone like a comedian or streamer racist bc they say a joke... Now for comedians, if they do ALL types of jokes, but the jokes that go viral are race jokes or whatever, and then they get called a racist or etc, bc people clipped a joke out of context, but yet the person they are labeling works with all types of people, is respectful too those people off and on cam when serious, is liked by other people in that group or whatever, that they talked or joked about, and doesn't have a racist track record IRL, etc... So tell me how is someone on the internet, who doesn't even watch the person or know their principles, morals or life... calling others some label? The person i'm talking about specifically rn is Andrew Schulz, people think that of him and many more. But people do this for hella public people. People also call Dave chappelle racist, or Homophobic, or Transphobic. Why? bc he makes jokes about those people, and SOME don't like it. Calling Andrew or Dave racist, homophobic, etc, is just stupid imo. Especially bc people who usually label others, are the exact label they throw out. And especially bc i watch a lot of both of them and many others to know, from at least what i see on internet, what ive seen contradicts what others are saying negatively about em, especially when they even say, "you are allowed to feel how you feel", only counter they would have is, they are allowed to at least attempt a joke... That was just about comedy, now apply this same thought process to a lot of people for many things and you'll see how stupid some critics get fr lol. Im not saying some critics aren't valid, but still, some people just be talking, and i've learned now to just ignore stuff, say stfu, or call em stupid, when people CLEARLY dont know what they are talking about. I dont entertain BS from anyone like that. That's why Discernment is important to have and practice, and many lack that, thats why u HAVE to go where like minded individuals are BUT also where people are who can disagree but still see your points and perspective, and arent fighting/arguing with you soley bc of how they feel

Fax, i remember catching up to wano and discovering the op Comm, Brago was the first person i started watching, and will continue to watch bc he provides and allows conversations and debates to be had, all while still having a good time while doing it

im glad you talked about this, bc ive only been a viewer of this stuff, ive never experienced it first hand as a creator, and its honestly one of the reasons why i held back releasing and even working on Music and story writing. I love my peace, and it can be disturbed just by lies and fabrication and so many other BS. Its like would i rather live a life of simplicity and moderate peace, or do i want to obtain my dreams and trade things i value for, comfortability and possibly money (which i dont care for) but also everyone being able to say whatever they please about me, and id have to let certain things be. Ive been getting back that motivation and mental fortitude though and i will for sure at least try and achieve what i want for myself

keep doing u bro and speak your mind, ppl will talk and let them. as long as you know it isnt true you shouldn’t let it concern you, why does their opinion even matter in the first place, it doesn’t. who ever are they to you, nobody so dont let them get to you. just keep focusing on the ones you know are here to support and show you love nun the less. not the ones who’s always searching for something to ridicule you for or trying to clipfarm and debate with you about this and that. theyre actual losers just sum weird ass niggas wit nun else to do in life lol. and for those saying you dont deserve the platform, you wouldnt have come so far or accomplished what you have if that were the case. just remember they dont know shit. not about you, not about how hard youve worked or about the journey it took to get here. so just keep being you brago its the reason were here in the first place

also brago i was wondering if you were taking suggestions on things to talk about for man talk and if so i wanted to know if you would speak on grief if your willing to i lost my mom a little over a month now im only 19 and tbh its been so hard and hurts so bad i dont know what to with myself i enjoy listening to what you have to say, your different outlooks on life, and your ability to understand different things maybe i could learn a thing or two idk also just want to say thank u for all the top tier content you’ve been putting out i appreciate it more than ever its been a big help ive been needing the distractions lol
