In this post I wanted to share the full cycle of my image creation workflow. Each image is taking up to 2 hours sometimes (Thanks to my crappy PC).

So here we go:

Step 1 - Initial Image

This one is the hardest part. Somedays I generate nearly 1000+ images just to cherry-pick a good one. Here I focus on poses and features, but mostly poses and overall composition.

Step 2 - Refining

In this step, I use different models to refine the image. Change the facial features, make it look more "comic book" style, etc.

Step 3 - First Upscale

This is where I run my first upscale method. This one is a bit time-consuming but simple.

Step 4 - Final Upscale

This is the most time-consuming part. Each image takes up to 15 minutes to upscale...

Step 5 - A bit of Post-Processing

Here I just run stuff through Luminar AI which I got from Humble Bundle last year (Honestly, I don't like this app, but I don't have anything else to edit images)

And that's it :)

Tbh, I could go even more in-depth, but the rest is just choosing the right words and getting lucky with the results...

Once I get a drawing tablet (Something on Android or iPad) then I'll be able to fix a lot of stuff and even turn lineart into finished AI images :)
