phew, Pia is safe, but ouch on that fall. Now how do we deal with monster lady. It may not have been actual murder, but attempted manslaughter is still valid. 😡

Orion Rhine

OK, Pia's alive. Now let's get her some help. Quickly.

Michael Gaffney

Ah! You’re okay! Aww, you goober! Now let’s go hunt us a gremlin…

voyager-ngc5195

Is it still attempted murder if the victim had plot armor? 🤔

EvilChicken25

I have never wanted to jump into my phone screen and give a fictional character a reassuring hug more in my entire life!

Marc Vader

You didn't MAKE anyone worry. We humans can and will do that all by ourselves! You just drew pretty pictures and told a story that's still unfolding.

The way the story is being told she didn't just fall, that makes little sense. She was assaulted, was unconscious and is likely in shock.

Pete White

Wait until rescuers arrive: "Would you look at that! Wonder what she was doing?" Plot twist: they are all female: "Aw, the poor thing, fell on her nature walk!" More twist: in the volunteer force, they're all Lesbians and Pia meets some interesting new friends.

She would have felt being pushed, unless you're assuming some kinda of trauma memory loss, but that's also not evident. Time will tell in any case

Otaku Twenty-Four Seven

For clarity, I'm just saying that might be the twist. Ms. Courtois is still indefensible here, just that she might be accused of something she only thought of doing but didn't actually do, and there's some deserved ironic justice in that given she is the town gossip

People very commonly don't remember the exact moment something terrible happened to them - e.g. a car accident. The fear response is a powerful drug.

Very true, I'm just looking for the twist. We didn't see her push, it was only implied and she didn't look very happy with herself if she did so it but that isn't definitive proof either.

Rasmus Kaj

Yay, Pia is alive! She doesn't even ssem to be in too much pain, but that may be the shock and adrenalin? I'm not done worrying until I see her stand up and walk ...

Yajoovya

THANK GOODNESS. Hopefully she's actually able to find some ironic humour in her situation, and she's not just laughing because she's delerious...

Arianod

Clover. She hasn't even been rescued yet and there's no way she'd fall from that height without breaking two or three things at the very least. *We're STILL worried.*

Kris Grimsley

Shit, that shock response actually has me more worried than if she was simply unconscious. That girl needs serious help, and she needs it now

Dafydd Mac an Leigh

That kind of fall still makes me worried she's got a broken back and all...

Good one, yes! I seem to recall Chloe had said characters from GGaR might make an appearance at some point in the future. And if I may, are you the 'Dafydd' from the GGaR forum? Are you from Wales? In Middle school a very long time ago I had a teacher, Mr. Bagg. He said anytime the last name ends in double consonants, the chances are they're Welsh.

Daybreak

My hope is that ms.C is shocked into altruism and goes to get help and Pia becomes friends and rehabilitates her through the power of friendship

I was going to say yes, don't whales have a problem with certain sounds, something about their tongues and then I caught myself. A much needed commodity in Wales, besides maybe jobs, because not only are all the place names in Wales like a minimum of 30 letters long, but they are all consonants. Which actually doesn't really matter because they are not pronounced anything like they look anyways.

Hawaiians seem to be rare on these forums. Perhaps its the time difference and they're asleep. When awake they are busy dodging tourists and, on the big Island, the occasional volcano. We had someone, 'Random55', who lived in Hilo and who would have possibly agreed about the alphabet (but he might have been on the 'Misfile' forum, not sure). Hawaiian Rock music is interesting: familiar and yet different, because of the language. Not sure about Welsh Rock, or if there is any.

I legit waited to read the past few pages, lol. Dark and sad stuff can be really powerful for stories, but it always hits in a way that's hard to digest for a bit. I'm glad she's at least alive :+).

aqueousErbium

ALSO! After this happened, I was like, "Wtf Clover? You renamed the comic PIA & The Little Tiny Things! PIA!!!! How could you!?" lol

Gordon Dexter

I gotta say, I love going back to the start of the chapter and seeing all the foreshadowing

skollipsism

yes but are they OKAY D:

Aqueous: if I understand your comment correctly as to the name, Clover actually made the change some time ago. As I understand that process, she said having it read 'Little Tiny Things...' meant it got lost in general Internet searchs for all things 'Little'. Putting 'Pia' first helped focus the search.

In re the volunteer lesbian possible R & L rescue team: "Quick, administer a rub! That will sedate her".
