I'm sorry Pia, it seems I'm determined to make your suffering take as much time as I possibly can, and making jokes about it too.

I'm such a bad parent :,D

That is a very unfortunate combination of events indeed.

Oof and when you're on the rag you bleed easier EVERYWHERE else too so u know that foot was GUSHING

@Michael yup! During menstruation the body makes hormones to thin the blood to make shedding the uterine lining easier, but those hormones affect the rest of the body too. It's a real problem for some people, for me it just means I get nose bleeds lol

Yajoovya

Ah jeez... crying blood all day.

Megan Lane MacDonald

@Martin the hormonal change that thins the blood happens for everyone who menstruates, yes, but everyone's hormone fluctuations are gonna be slightly different (same as how different ppl with testes have different levels of testosterone). So everyone that has a period will have slightly thinner blood than the rest of the time, but it's more noticeable for some ppl than for others. Also, many uterus owners are unaware of this phenomenon & have no idea why they seem to bleed/bruise so easily sometimes and not other times.
