Yeah more gay Barbarian \o/ Really enjoying this series so far :)

I feel like this poses many questions. Was the futurian the original or was the previous one also a clone? Is the entire civilization just all clones or are there still different humans with multiple clones?

I'm betting this one Futurian created the cloning process and overtook the rest of humanity, Grey Goo style.

barbarian: oh i forgot to mention, our reproduction method, it depends on your genitals. futurian: what??? omg that is so WEIRD

Ethan

If cloning replaced (outsourced) reproduction away from our genitals... how many generations do you think would it take for our genitals to transition into nonfunctional, vestigial organs. In fact! Would using them purely for pleasurable purposes change how they form and function?!?!

I am 75% certain humans have huge boobs and penises (relative to other primates) is because we've self-evolved into the party ape.

I love how this little joke comic set off so much interesting philosophical and biological speculation in the comments! Anyway, this is pretty funny, and not just because the futurian's only just got here and ALREADY the two of them are talking abut having sex! XD

Daelin

Flirty vs clueless

Arianod

Ooh? So the Futurian is a lady?

We humans have big penises because our babies are born with big heads and the need to deposit sperm near the cervix of the uterus. The big heads result in long vaginas, which then result in long penises, which because we no longer have penis bones results in large girths to provide structural support during sex.

Will it be enough to get them into the barbarian's pants? :3 (loincloth? whatever)

if you're controlling reproduction, "natural selection" ceases to be the main selective pressure. so, would human genitals become vestigial? in the absence of any extra scifi contrivance (like genetic editing or smthng), nope. not unless you're specifically "breeding them out". which is eugenics, which is bad. also what Devon King said: humans are extremely social, and that extends to sexuality. so even if they lost their reproductive use, our sexual organs may be affected by other selective pressures.

I mean, I figured the Barbarian was a lady, but I couldn’t even guess what the Futurian was. Didn’t want to assume there.

Well.... without the right equipment, it's going to be difficult to multiply.
