In panel three I guess I thought Pia was climbing the stairs, but in panel four she is clearly descending, which makes sense because Emile would be on the ground floor to do his stunt. Those diagonal lines in three fooled me.

Yeah the diagonal wood bit of the stairs going upwards does make it seem like it's an upward stairway! One of those moments when maybe I could have not followed some ref pics I have of the house so closely all the time.
