Let's get a bit of Breton in there, finally!

A language that is intriguing to me but looks complicated to learn :D

But since I live in Brittany now (Bretagne, not England), I've been wanting to drop some Breton refs in this comic (that takes place in the whereabouts, though the village name 'Joiville' is purely fictional!)

I love how you can even depict the way old people's skin loosen up a bit! Great work.

I've once shared a flat with a guy from Bretagne, pretty cool times! He cooked really good pancakes. I'm fascinated by dialects! Once I learned a little greeting a friend's grandpa used to say, in Occitane: "ko' vai ko, lupito?" Something like "how are you doing, little guy?" I'm pretty sure I can't spell it right but it's pretty cute.

And now we learn why she was so upset. There is nothing worse than family, especially when they visit on short notice and ruin all your plans for the day. This also explains all the effort she put in, you gotta prove to your older siblings that you are more capable than them. And of course the older sister's timing is impeccable.

I have known this woman for precisely one panel, and yet I can already say I understand the old ladies sour reaction

Another neat little border to add some extra spice to the page, nice! By the way, she should say 'go to the toilet', not 'go to the toilets'.

Ah Brittany! I spent a summer in Quiberon with family friends when I was 15 (ages and ages ago). Your settings are getting more and more beautiful and your characters increasingly interesting. Thanks Cover!

It's quite an art to arrive precisely *that* late ^^ Looks like Sis has it perfected.

Quiberon, awesome! Haven't been there yet but surely will sooner than later, as I live not too far from it :)
