WOW?! That was such a great film! Not at all what I expected and a ton of fun. I kept the credits rolling and there's a mid credits scene that I hope you watched! Some trivia: It is explained that during the first intervention with Sissy to close the loop, Tree gets knocked out of her regular universe and ends up in a parallel universe. It was considered at one point to have her wake up in other parallel universes as well, or to have more than one version of Tree in a single universe. However, writer/director Christopher Landon reasoned that it would become too complicated to explain, "a big narrative mess that I didn't want to have to deal with [and] kind of muddied things", so he wrote in an explanation that Tree has switched places with a version of herself, as the reason of why there would only be one Tree at a time.

Oh!! We missed the mid credits scene! We'll have to try to watch it some other time. Thank you for letting us know! And thank you for the fun fact! That is interesting and makes sense.

My pleasure! I was typing my comment when I heard the music stop on the movie and had to look over lol. I'm glad the Director realized it would be a mess to explain so kept it simple. A script treatment was written in 2024 for the third film under the title " Happy Death Day To Us" but they're waiting for a firm greenlight before finishing a complete script.
