Hello everyone! 💜

Patreon is ending per-creation billing, so starting today… I'll have to switch from individual Terms to monthly subscriptions 🥲

Rather than applying Patreon's suggested ×2 conversion to all my tiers, based on my previous system of a maximum of 2 Terms per month, I've chosen monthly prices that better reflect my posting schedule and the content I've offered this year.

New monthly prices (USD):

I'll also add a $1/month Support tier, for anyone who simply wants to support my work without receiving rewards, while still being able to follow some of my posts. 💜

What about the rewards?

The types of rewards included in each tier will remain the same for now!

However, with this imposed change, I won't necessarily create the equivalent of 2 Terms every month. Depending on the projects, you may receive several illustrations or a more ambitious creation (such as OC development, or further development of our Create Your Character community project… and more ideas to come!)

This will also give me more time to develop new ideas and gradually prepare for the transition to Peaches, which should come soon 💜

I haven’t checked up on Peaches in a while, but is it already almost at the point of being used for subscriptions to creators? Cause if so, that’s HUGE!

Je contribue à quatre créateurs sur patreon. Rester sur cette plateforme me permet de centraliser mes achats . C'est plus simple.

Patreon making things rough... Though the new price system sounds fair, according to your release schedule for the past years. Also, like you said, it could be an opportunity to sometimes offer different types of content and not stick to terms' "classical" format (not like I dislike them though, all the opposite). I'm basically using Patreon just for you so I don't mind switching to Peaches, sounds even better that way, since you should have more freedom there ? Hang on, I'm sure you'll find the best way to get this right !

I don't see why you want to move. If it's a money issue then I will say with the level of care and detail you put in and how much you give us I would 100% be okay if you doubled the pricing of your arts

Not yet! We're still in internal beta testing. Some creators will join us for the limited beta next, and we'll gradually expand from there! :)

Yes, somewhat! Peaches is a new creator platform we're building, with a strong focus on artists and their communities. It shares some similarities with Patreon, but we have a lot of other features planned too!

Thank you, Thibutsu! 💜 Yes, I'll have more freedom in some ways, but more importantly, a lot of things will eventually be brought together in one place. Not right away, of course, since we can't build everything at once with our current team size! But that's actually one of the things we're working hard on with Peaches: giving creators as many tools as possible within a single platform, so they can focus on what matters most, grow their work, and spend less time dealing with all the administrative stuff on top of their creative production. That's the general idea, and one of our main long-term goals for Peaches! :)

Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! 💜 But it's not just about money. There are several reasons behind my decision, including more flexibility, creative freedom, and the direction I want to take with my work. For example, if I want to take two weeks off and release only one Term instead of two, I want to be able to do that without having to pause subscriptions for an entire month. I've never felt comfortable charging people when I'm taking a break, so losing the ability to charge per creation changes a lot for me. I know it might be hard to understand from the outside, but that's just one of the reasons. There are still plenty of things I like about Patreon, and I know it works well for many artists! And if all goes well with Peaches, I'll eventually be able to bring more of my work together on a platform we're building ourselves! :)
