character depth

Melio is an OC of my fictive world robinia. As the commander of the robinian army, extensive training is part of the job, and as you might see later, he is training every single part of his body ^.~ (suggestiveness intended). It was actually one of those training sessions, where he met his future wife, a stubborn princess eager to find a way of concentrating her anger and fury in something material... or as it is later revealed onto somebody material. I think I am in a mood of doing her portrait next, some exotic beauty waiting to be revealed ^-^

working process

This picture has pushed me to so many limits you could almost say I don't have any talent at all, because the end result doesnt look that challenging xD I tried many new things on this artwork, background light settings, extreme depth of focus, SWEAT (not only on his body but also his tank top, which I tried to make slightly soaked and therefore transparent in some areas), coming to that tank top which (me being obsessed with this realistic style) of course had to be a rib jersey xD I really need to improve my speed, otherwise it will be really troublesome to provide the amount of pictures per month I challenged myself to.
