working process 

My first armor, and it nearly killed me xD I don't know why, usually I begin with the realistic face and I`m a little bit horrified because it doesn't look like I wanted it to look. Then I do the hair next and suddenly everything makes sense again and I do the rest. This time it was the other way round. I did his face and was very satisfied, but after painting his hair I was kinda troubled, and this feeling didn't leave me till now @_@ The armor itself was kinda fine, I analized many photographs till I had the feeling I understand whats going on, then I kinda realized that my armor isn't silver but instead blue, and all things I thought I learned about reflections were gone again xD But I should stop complaining, I've tried many new things this time which I like a lot. I gave his trousers the surface of wild leather and his top a velvet surface, as I wanted the things he wears to look rich (as he is a lord... a blue haired lord... what a huge difference to my other Fire Emblem arts till now xD). I also love his belt buckle with the rococo-theme, it was a lot of fun doing all the twirls. I hope the deep-rooted fans won't lynch me, I have to admit that I stretched the hilt of Armads quite a lot, but I couldn't manage to draw a natural looking pose with this way to oversized axe xD I usually tend to say, that such a huge weapon is only a way to compensate another part of the body that is rather small, but as I already know what is below that armor I can tell you, this is not one of Hectors problems xD
