character depth

Azmi is an OC of my fictive world Robinia. He is a monk of the most worshipped religion of the land, and therefore sworn to live a very ascetic live. Well, at least his brothers do, as Azmi always had his own mind when it came to his religion. This doesn't mean he doesn't believe in the creator, he just has a different way of worshipping him, which doesn't hit a lot of acceptance especially from his superiors. But Azmi has a huge benefit, a rare talent inherited by his ancestors, which allows him to memorize moments he experienced to play them back whenever he wants as a form of illusion. As this is a huge deal for his work to attract more people to their religion, his superiors have come to tolerate a lot of his unsuited behaviors, like constantly being drunk for example.
