Hey everyone!

As promised, here is the reaction to the album "HOP" including all the MVs of each single as well as "Walking On Water"!

I LOVED the entire album. I was so so positively surprised by each single but also "Walking On Water". I think I fell in love with Bangchan the moment I saw his abs and the horse (i think you know what im talking about lmfaooooo).

I had so much fun watching this and thank you so much guys for suggesting this to me. This certainly made my day and I just cant STOP THINKING ABOUT BANGCHAN ON THE HORSE. Its gonna be my wallpaper from now on...

commenting as i watch per usual,, chan is allergic to wearing shirts… 😂 I LOVE HOW YOU ALWAYS FOCUS ON SOMEONE NEW IN EACH REACTION LOLLL even after stanning for 7 years i still dont know who to look at 😫 when im by myself i have to watch the dance practices 8 times to watch everyone individually LMAO chan loves to make jokes about how railway is about trains but sir… we ALL know what that song is ACTUALLY about 😏 unfair felix did not deserve the hate it received for its “cringe/corny” lyrics, unfair is literally my top 4 fav solos from hop!! 😭 i love how versatile felixs voice is and how it literally sounds like he’s featuring himself in his own song… also there was some beauty & the beast references in that song/mv, hence why he said “belle” & “gaston” your reaction to hallucination was ALL of us!!! 😭 MAKNAE WAS NOT MAKNAE’ING LMAOO i.n in a crop top is something else — that reminds me to say you should watch the solo performances too! even the solo switches (where each member performed another members solo.. you would die seeing han perform “railway” and bangchan perform “so good” because i nearly did lol) you saying you expected i.ns solo to be all sunshines is so real because you cant tell me lee knows “youth” doesnt give i.n vibes like its so cute (i.n performed youth for the solo switch I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PLS seungmin did ultra, felix did hold my hand, changbin did as we are, hyunjin did unfair, lee know did hallucination!! if you do decide to watch them in the future i can give you the good links)

I love that you gravitate towards a new member every time you watch a new MV. It's so relatable. I can't wait to see where your bias lands. For myself, I thought I was a Chan bias for months until I had consumed enough interview/SKZ Code content to better understand their personalities. And then one day Seungmin steamrolled his way into the position and I've never looked back. Enjoy the journey! hahahaha

i agree lee know is definitely very handsome and pretty at the same time i love staring at his face (in the least weird way possible LOL).. youth is also in my top 3 fav solos from hop and its my favourite music video i love rewatching it 🥹 the struggle to pick a bias is SOOO real lmaoo, i always say my bias line is i.n, seungmin, han, and lee know but deep down im just an ot8 becquse theyre all so beautiful and talented how can you just pick one favourite 💔💔 i love the visuals, the outfit, the mv, everythinggg for so good i remember when it first came out though, the chorus had to grow on me but ive heard it so many times since then to the point where i literally love it and godd sometimes i miss long hair hyunjin then i see his current hair rn and im like nvm i like this 😂 LOVEEE THE DANCE BREAK PART THO LIKE THE BEAT TOO UGHH you saying that was “so good” after lolll unintentional pun intended ULTRA IS ONE OF MY FAVES TOOOOOO omg when they took the solos off the tour setlist before it got to my show i was a lil sad bc i wanted to hear ultra live sooo badly lol but i guess hearing the duo songs made up for it — changbin loves gdragon so i know he’d appreciate that mini comparison!! and its been proven changbin can actually rap faster than eminem! i think the inspo actually was hulk too i can’t remember 😅

i love the visuals, editing, outfit for the hold my hand mv as well and hans voice gahhhh he really is an ace he can never go wrong i love him so bad 😖😖 definitely my second favourite solo mv after lee knows!! another solo that i HAVE to hear live at least once seungmins is my favourite solo, i just love his voice so much and he holds a special little place in my heart.. and yes you remembered correctly from the guide where they mentioned he wanted to be a pro baseball player but couldn’t anymore!!, that one moment in the mv when he turned and ran the other way away from the baseball is basically symbolizing how he gave up on that dream to be an idol and sing and perform which is why the next clip after that shows him singing with the microphone 🥲🥲 their tour that recently just ended they performed at lots of baseball stadiums and seungmin actually bought some jerseys to wear them and he stills plays baseball for fun sometimes and the other members play it with him!! so i think its sweet how he didnt just forget about it completely :') this is a bit off topic but you should check out his cover of “birds of a feather” billie eilish that cover always gives me chills that man can SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING enjoyed your reaction like always — you forgot to react to “Bounce Back” and “U (Feat. Tablo) from this albums as well (not solos) but they’re both still good especially bounce back, another one directed to the haters and even added a lil sneak diss to those rude photographers at the met gala — they said bounce back was more intense too but they had to cut the song down.. that always makes me curious to hear the og version and what they actually said 😳

SOLOS!!!! Is you okay!?? 🤣 Walking on Water introduced you to chRIZZtopher. -I hope your takeaway from Bang Chan’s solo is that you will be able to handle Red Lights now. Speaking of Railway and Red Lights, there is also Drive & Escape to watch. Bang Chan is a big fan of transportation. - Unfair is Felix’s version of Beauty and the Beast. He is the beast and you heard mention of Belle as well. He was stunning the whole MV. - Hallucination I think I play daily. Daddy Toast has never been more accurate! - Youth is the exact opposite of what I expected from LK but he nailed it with this song. Him working at a BINGO parlor is also hysterical to me. - So Good I have no words. The outfits 💯 You will randomly bust out an “oh my god!” now - Ultra YES, HULK!! There is a couple spots where he says “feeling like Banner” - Bruce Banner is the Hulk. Supposedly CB came up with the arm flex-body roll dance in the shower. 🥳 Our boys are huge nerds so there is usually some kind of reference to Avengers somewhere. - Hold My Hand easily one of my favorites. You really get Ace HAN this whole song. It’s brilliant. - As We Are just fit Minnie so well with the baseball. Tear jerker! And to answer your question, yes! There are fan recordings of them singing their solos. There are also solo switches as well. The Solo Switches are the best!! Seungmin sang Ultra and we all collectively died at the same time. HAN sang Railway and it’s devastating. I’m excited for you to watch the duets! Mixtape: dominATE has the duets! But you have to watch Red Lights first because BC and Hyunjin’s “Escape” is part 2 of Red Lights.

First I was not too into walking on water but this song grow on me. And after the concert I'm really enjoying listen to it. Railway is a musical masterpiece. But don't get me starttakibg about the visuals ☠️ i love love love vampires and Chan , so this mv definitely is made for me. For me the black and white Chan symbolises the light and dark side of everyone of us. Btw. At the first half of the dominate tour they performed the solo songs and Chan took away his shirt on stage.. it killed every Chan Stan. When I first qatch the mv for unfair I was crying. It's so emotional. And the vocal range is insane. This song is referring to the beauty and the beast. Hallucination is such a mood... and the visuals 😳 he definitely is not a baby anymore. You can see what's gonna happen when you shar a dorm with Chan (the master of croptops) Btw. When he was younger he wanted to become a priest. Youth is such a fun song to listen. And seeing Lee Know being so cute, adorable and smiling makes me soooo happy every time I watch it. So good is my daughters absolute favourite song out of the solo songs. It's such a vibe as well. And the choreography is insanely good. Maybe croptop were on sale 🤣 that's why we see so many bellybuttons. Ultra is a Changbin masterpiece. I had this song in my head for days after the release. His flow is unbelievable. I can totally agree with the G Dragon reference. He definitely is referring to Hulk cause he mentioned Benner in the lyrics. Hold my hand is one of my favorite solo songs. When Han performed it on the tour all says sang as loud as they could and he looked soooooooo flashed and happy . It was so adorable. Seingmins solo is a vocal masterpiece. I'm not that much in emotional songs but his voice always gives me instand shivers. Seeing you speechless every song is sooo heartwarming. I really love watching you falling in love with the guys more and more every song. Picking a bias in SKZ is definitly a challenge. Maybe that's why most of us are OT8. 🫣🫣🫣 Btw. Han song is a last part of a beautiful trilogy ALIEN HUMAN HOLD MY HAND You can say it's his journey from alien to human in his own mind. It is a great journey. All Hans solos are soooo good Volcano 13 I GOT IT ALIEN HUMAN MISERABLE CLOSE HAPPY MAYBE WISH U BACK He is the one that could put out a solo album tomorrow with his song writing

There are two more ot8 songs on the album - Bounce Back and U. U is the collab with Tablo. Both are one of my fav skz songs but they got lost in all the solo stuff. Huge shame. The kids don't have many bubbly songs. That is not their shtick. They can make them and are good at it (Awkward silence, Get cool, My pace) but it is not a very "stray kids" sound. I think you will like the one minsung song - Want so bad. Lives are from concerts and they are amazing. Railway esp because it took the MV on stage. In the MV Chan is seen dragging the chair off and him dragging it on stage is the beginning of the performance. It only gets better from there. Lee Knows song has a part where dancers have to copy part of his choreo on the spot. He made them do pushups once or he spoiled choreo for the next cb. One of the last performances he decided to just shake his butt and there are edits of this from EVERY angle. The best lives of these songs are when they switched things up during the fanmeeting. Felix did Hold my hand, Han - Railway, Hyunjin - Unfair, Chan - Soo good, Lee Know - Hallucination, Bin - As we are, I.N - Youth and creme de la creme - Seungmin did Ultra. All are must see but esp Chans so good version and Seungmins Ultra

If you really want to get into it, they each performed their own solos live, but also performed each other’s solos live! Han covered Railway, Hyunjin covered Unfair, Felix covered Hold my Hand, Chan covered Life is So Good, Lee Know and IN swapped songs, and Changbin and Seungmin swapped songs! (I think I got that right lol)

My favorite solos are Ultra for sheer energy, and As We Are, 'cause it's just that beautiful. Yes, there are live performances, and Yes, you need to watch the solo swaps from the fanmeet. The swaps are actually more meaningful to me, because for a lot of the members, it's seeing them do things (musically) that they don't do that often. Of the swaps, I loved Changbin's As We Are and Felix's Hold My Hand the most. Honorable mention goes to Seungmin, though, for really finding his own groove with Ultra.

To answer your question about Felix’s solo. Belle is actually Belle from the "Beauty and the beast" movie. The whole song is based on the movie ! ;) and of course some personal feelings and emotions.

Fun fact.. Genius.com named Bang Chans Railway mv the best mv by a male kpop artist so far in 2025. Been obsessed with Railway since it came out. Been my number 2 most played under Red Lights haha. The behind the scenes for Railway is really cute because Chan is giggling like 90% of the time 🤭 I adore that man so much. My top 3 solos are Railway, Hallucination and Hold My Hand. So Good was Hyunjins first time wearing a crop top and he said now he understands why Chan prefers them, lol. It's for the ease of movement but also for Chan it's a sensory thing, he doesn't like having his shirts tucked in. Actually Chan doesn't like clothes in general. It's well known he walks around the dorms "adam and eve" naked, according to Lee Know, haha. Chan was complaining the others never want his hugs and they said well if you would put some clothes on, hahaha. He's admitted to sleeping naked. Yeah, all of the members wrote and produced their own solos. If you want to hear Changbins vocals check him out on King of the Masked Singer. Make sure you watch their live performances and then solo swaps. They have a lot more solos by the way. Not many with music videos but theres still more for you to discover 😊
