Hey everyone!

I have finished the first episode of Kingdom: Legendary War and it was SO GOOOOOOD!

It was the best of both worlds. Ikon and BTOB are groups Ive listened to a lot during my Kpop phase and now I got to know Stray Kids and ATEEZ too so that was so nice for me to watch <3

I dont know what happened to my intro so I'm sorry if the video starts with me instantly watching the episode, I think it didn't record properly but the only thing you missed was me yapping so not important anyway LOL

I hope you enjoy this video and let me know if there are better websites to watch Kingdom. The subtitles were a bit delayed in the end so maybe there is a better option somewhere...

I think to fix the subtitles all you can do in the moment is reload the entire page, but it didn't work for you it seems like... I also found there's an extension for chrome that lets you manually adjust them (if you're even using chrome). Maybe a different browser could work actually And yeah, Ateez and Skz are considered to be besties! Even before kingdom. Wooyoung and Changbin are actually besties and their leaders consider them the "problem children" of their groups xD

Yasssss!! Episode 1!! It’s uncomfortably quiet and awkward because this studio is usually packed with a loud ass audience but this was during Covid so no audience was allowed. Whomp Whomp. A lot of these groups hadn’t performed in over a year at this point and now they are performing in front of each other for the first time. Not awkward at all! 1. BTOB only had the 4 members because the rest were doing their military service I believe! We love Eunkwang! 2. I think the Hakuna Matata took all us newbies by surprise. I died laughing too the first time I heard it. There was no way that could be a real thing. spoiler: It’s a real thing. 🤣 They seem so small without Mingi there. 😔 The crazy thing about ATEEZ is they were in the middle of a comeback at this time as well and their schedule was stupid as hell. They also did not have the production budget as all the other groups because of the size of KQ in 2021. 3. Wooyoung and Changbin have been besties since their training days. 4. The subtitles are delayed on this episode only. It sucks! But the rest of the episodes are fine. Hang in there! 5. Miroh is such a great song by SKZ. It’s the first song they had that won an award I believe. The music video for Miroh has no knives or wolves and honestly, does not sound 70% of what was played on the show. Changbin’s rap was wayyyy off with the backtrack during this performance, too. He is still pissed about that to this day. 😂 This is also the only episode we see Hyunjin. They did everything they could to erase him from this episode. You barely know he’s there. Stays also have severe PTSD about Felix jumping off group members during performances. You will see why in the Survival Show. Can we PLEASE keep Felix on the ground!?? Jesus. 6. IKON is amazing. I would have went with them as the performance winner for this round if I didn’t know who SKZ or ATEEZ were. BTOB if we were voting on musicality bc damn- that harmony. 😍 7. I watched this show on Amazon Prime & AppleTV+ so I will be no help on where else to watch. But the subtitles were still messed up for me for episode 1 even on Amazon Prime. Maybe try KShow123.tv or Tubi? 8. The voting and results are going to piss you off so bad through the whole show. Get ready. It’s never the same from one episode to the next and makes zero sense. I suck at math and can tell you, the math ain’t mathing in this show. And yes, they end this show at the wrong time every episode! 😒 I am so excited you loved this!! The performances on this show are so wild. It’s unlike any show you’ll ever watch production wise! This is truly a fandom comfort watch (weird I know) and we always come back to watch it over and over. It’s fun to watch it with someone for the first time and see if your reaction was the same as mine. I was trying to take notes on my phone of all your questions while making my grocery list, cleaning out the fridge, doing laundry & changing the kitty litter. I almost pasted my grocery list in this response as well. Yikes. #MultitaskingQueen Ready for Ep 2!! Let’s goooo!

Get ready for the crazzzyyy performances, you are in for a roller coaster. Also I noticed you having some lag with the subtitles; some other alternatives to watch from that do not have subtitle lag issue: Prime, Apple TV, and Tubi.

if you search up "skzflix" its like a website with a bunch of skz content, they have kingdom on it! if you scroll down to "mnet shows" they have it on there, so you'll click it and it gives you options, so click "kshow123" and boom! (umm be careful tho because I just went to make sure it still works and IT DOES but it redirected me to something inappropriate at first its never done that before until now....) also when you finish kingdom, there's another little variety show to watch afterwards called "kingdom week"

Love your reaction!! Regarding the subtitles, I look to see if anyone would know what to do. If you're watching it from the channel "Cereal" on youtube, someone in the comments says to do the following... "For eng full subtitles: You have to put the subs in Spanish first, then "autotranslate" to english". So try that with the episode you just watched and see if that works for you.

The subtitles on the first 2 episode are laging. After that ist getting better as far as I remember it.

I am excited to watch this with you. It is fun to see a different perspective, especially from someone who was a fan of the "older" groups. I am hoping that now that 4.5 years have passed, I can watch with less angst. Yes, all of the groups were very supportive of each other, and it was great to see the comradery build throughout the shows. But, the fandoms were at each other's throats, and the amount of online hate was really hard to live through. I have never streamed and voted so hard in my life. Also, having Hyunjin taken away from us, for unjust allegations, made it worse. We missed him so much and the rest of SKZ also had to move on as if nothing was wrong. It was heartbreaking. You will also see that in the 2nd episode, only Max is left as a host, as there was another scandal involving the other host. So much strife surrounds this show. But, it also forged some good friendships and helped all of the groups learn to be better performers.

Yeeeaaaaah. I was waiting for this. I love to watch kingdom with reactors. Maybe I'm watching it for the 25th time now and still loooooove it And to be honest, watching it with someone how know most of the other bands as well (like me) is so much more fun. I loved the connection between every band.

As an Atiny, Kingdom was not the best time for our boys and sometimes we tend to block it out due to how they were treated. But I do still love watching people's reactions to the show and re-watching these iconic performances!

If I remember correctly that he bullied kids when he was in school, he issued a public apology and met with some I believe to apologize in person. He was on put on hiatus for 3 or 4 months I think

There was a second season of Road to Kingdom, but hasn’t been a second season of Kingdom yet. About this show, I would recommend you just ignore or FF through the scoring. It is annoying and pretty frustrating. It was crazy rigged and unfair the way it was done. Because you could vote for multiple teams, people would vote for their favorite and then for whoever they thought wouldn’t do well in order to keep other groups down. Being online during Kingdom was utter Hell. The fan wars were just…sad. If you ever want to watch another survival show I recommend going back and watching Boys Planet and Boys 2 Planet. B2P just ended and created a new group. Boys Planet created ZeroBaseOne and then those who didn’t win went on to create or become members of XLOV, EVNNE, One Pact, TIOT, Ampers&One, ARrC, TOZ…also, there is the survival show I-Land which created ENHYPEN and had 4 contestants go on to also create &Team (on the show The Howling). They are two of the biggest 4th Gen boy groups, though &Team is Japanese based. All are fun shows.

If they'd do it again they would be the big seniors now and treated like kings. Imagine them together with 5th gen groups ... that would be fun. Back then they were the rookies and now one of the leaders of 4th gen.

I Love Kingdom: Legendary War ... the fanboying, mateship, comradary and performances are unmatched ... other competition shows just don't seem as wholesome and heartwarming when it comes to the group interactions and genuine respect and support for each other ... I think a lot of this comes down to the groups that were chosen to be on the show, especially the senior idols like BtoB and iKON, easing any tension and having groups that are already familiar with each other on and off stage, who are all very respectful of each other... As a STAY I was introduced to the other groups through Kingdom, but I also already knew of a few members of these groups because of their interactions with SKZ... > Ateez - like everyone has said Wooyoung and Changbin have been friends since predebut through mutual school friends. > The Boyz - As they mentioned on the show debuted a few months before SKZ and collaborated a fair bit in these early years, often appearing on the same variety shows and many of the members are friends ... Juyeon and Lee Know are mates and often noted for being part of the 98line with Jungwoo from NCT and others. Sunwoo once said that he wanted to be friends with Han and Changbin as there were no rappers in his company and he admired them.. and just went up and grabbed Han behind the scenes of a music show and said "lets be friends" ... which is pretty hillarious to imagine (esp knowing how introverted Han in with new people). Eric and Felix are good friends ... but Felix appears to get on with everyone and will win anyone over with baked goods. I am sure there are more, but these are just the ones I know of. > SF9 - Chani (SF9) was co-MC for 'Show! Music Core' with Hyunjin for 2 years just prior to this (2019-2021) and mentioned that he became friends with him and Lee Know during this time and during the Special MC stage 'Snow Prince' performance with the 2 Stray Kids. > BtoB - Peniel and Bang Chan are very close and used to live in the JYP dorms together when Chan first moved to Korea and before Peniel debuted at Cube. After Kingdom members stayed close ... with Minhyuk commenting that many of the SKZ members used his flat as their 2nd dorm. I often think that it is a shame this show is a competition, because all the groups are so good and so different and all the stages are amazing from everyone. They all genuinly seem to respect and support each other like one big happy Kingdom and then the voting part just ruins a lot of the mood (maybe that is just me) ... but I get it, it is MNet, and it is the whole point of the show. ... although I think the bonds and perfromances are the best part. Every stage is amazing ... I will say that the intro stage by Stray Kids was definietly my fav, although I am bias, I have seen this show far too many times and everytime it still blows me away how much they fit into 100s. ... I am going to sound like a broken record throughout these episodes cause for me, despite loving all the stages ... the stand outs were always the same groups .. Stray Kids, Ateez and BtoB (Mayfly Forever!) ... every round these groups got me the most excited and didn't disappoint (but I know I am bias).
