Hey everyone!

I have just finished watching the second episode of Kingdom! And I LOVED IT... ;-;

I love watching the old groups I liked back then, interact with the ones I like now and its just so nice to see them perform old songs I loved aaaaaa

I also cant wait for the next episode because that one is going to be a banger, if it wasnt so late (where I live) I would have just watched another one but it's bed time now sadly hehe

The one thing about Kingdom that was disappointing was how much they weighed or scaled the global voting in relationship to the other judging /ranking methods included in the scoring. All in all though, I think the groups all realize and just end up learning to enjoy each other and this program for what it is.

YES wE were in the trenches, all the skz fanbases came together and established voting teams, and we still had to vote in three different groups, so strategies were made so that we could always get more votes even with this criteria, and to be honest, at that time our fandom was not dedicated to streaming videos on youtube so everyone learned through hate how to stream 😅 I think the fact that people were doing everything for skz to fall and the hatred towards hyunjin only favored the fandom to dedicate 150% to this survival

Btob was so nostalgic for me bc when i got into kpop they were airing that we got married season with joy from rv and sungjae from btob so i was really obsessed with them for a while djskdns i think kingdom was really good for them to get a little boost internationally

Episode 2!! Let’s goooo! For today’s episode I am sitting in my Jeep for the next 2 hours while my daughter is at dance competition practice. Yayyyyy. It’s like you knew I needed this released on Tuesdays! 🤣 1. How cute was it when SKZ found out they won and Seungmin thanked STAY?? Not God. STAY! Which is wild bc Felix is uber religious. Those boys are just as obsessed with us as we are with them. 😭 2. The voting is dumb as hell! A man came up with this shit for sure. 3. If there is one thing The Boyz can do is, it’s tell a story! They had such a great idea with GoT! Sunwoo hanging was awesome. But those underwater photos? Genius. 4. I love how IKON had to call in friends to help pick a song. I still have no idea who Mino is that Bobby called. But their performance made me incredibly happy! So fun! 5. I can’t with Minhyuk. That man makes me tingly. Love, Love, LOVE BTOB. This performance with just the 4 of them!? So good! 6. I feel like you should watch Side Effects by SKZ before watching the next episode to appreciate the mashup but then again… maybe the mashup will make you watch Side Effects. I don’t recall you watching any fetus SKZ! 7. The next episode is so damn amazing. I cannot wait for your reaction. But I am flying out of town to go to a Sleep Token concert this weekend! So I gotta wait 😭😭😭

Yes! Side Effects is an older Stray Kids song! It’s like.. maybe 6 years old now? But it’s used in the next episode. This song was ahead of its time and is heavy with stray kids lore. And you get some Hyunlix which is my favorite. 😍

I totally agree, the voting was very toxic. But I have to admit, I voted a lot at this time 🫣 All the performances are so unique and good in their own way, you can only decide by your gut feeling I think. I'm totally loving SKZ but I stared liking some of the other groups members a lot like Jay, Bobby, Sunwoo, Eric, Q, Jeayoon, Eunkwang, San, .... I was a big fan of ikon and btob years before, so I love them as well. I was nerve-racking all the time. Can't wait to see all episodes with you cause it's getting better and better every episode. I really really really enjoy watching it with you and see your reaction to all this.

awww im happy you are watching this with me! its nice to have ppl talk about it hahaha, since when did you start listening to kpop? i feel like a lot of ppl started during the 4th generation, it hurts to see when ppl dont know some of the old groups HAHAH

It's especially funny bc he is biggest Jimin fanboy! 🥺 like there is one hilarious recording of him loosing it over blonde JM he is a true army fr. Which is also extra funny bc San had like two challenges with J-Hope and there were many jokes about like good that it wasnt JM or WY would stop tlaking to him. 😆

Watching the scoring is just going to make you upset. As someone who lived it, it was SO angering. The toxicity, the fan wars, the rigging. The voting was unfair and just not worth watching. Honestly, the scoring ruins the show. I watch it for the interactions and the performances. The scoring is something I skip every rewatch. The size of the fan bases entirely determined the winner, and the way a lot of people voted was for their favorite and because we got to vote for 3 groups, they also voted for who they thought didn’t have a chance, to help their group stay on top. A global vote would have been okay if only we had gotten to vote for one group. Voting multiple just ruined it. I voted and watched as live as possible (like four days after it aired originally because of waiting for subtitles).
