Hey everyone!

Here is the fifth episode of Kingdom Legendary War! As mentioned in the video, super sorry for delaying this until now! I had 0 time to watch it before my trip because prerecording and editing everything took me so long :( BUT here it is now!

This is by far my most favourite episode for sure. Mainly because it had groups in there that I like so much. I thought it was so nice to see BTOB interact with Stray Kids. A group I knew from my Kpop time and one that made me come back to Kpop :')

I am so glad you are back!! I’m sorry to hear you aren’t feeling well! Rest, take Vit C and add local honey to your tea! Time for my episode novel recap. 🤣 Episode 5!! Let’s goooo!! 1- Minhyuk ripping his shirt off altered all the things for me. I’m still unprepared every time I watch this! 2- Back Door was the best choice honestly! I’m glad you watched the MV before the episode so you could really appreciate the song! It’s such an amazing song! 3- I’ll Be Your Man performance is probably my 2nd favorite SKZ performance ever. MAMA 2022 is numero uno SKZ performance. 4- The making of the rings was so special. They did make an 8th ring for Hyunjin and the ring was on a necklace around the statues neck during the IBYM performance. 5- The concept for the song was they would sacrifice everything to have the one they treasured the most (the little boy who represented Hyunjin) brought back to them. They made a deal with the devil and climbed up to heaven and destroyed it, to bring the boy back. In the end, the devil betrayed Bang Chan; he brought the boy back and killed all the members but Bang Chan. Goes back to the whole “be careful what you wish for.” 6- MYH/ Mooyaho means to be really excited or super happy. It was from a meme I think. 7- I.N’s voice crack was so unnoticeable! I thought he did it on purpose for effect! Poor baby. Seeing him cry is devastating, especially when you see him getting ripped apart constantly on the Survival show! 8- The score was bullshit. Blaming the voice crack for the low score is also crap. They even said that SKZ didn’t follow the rules and make the song “reborn.” After this show aired, SKZ took it so hard. They disappeared from social media and went radio silent. SKZ was a very hated group in Korea at this time, so that didn’t help either. I believe the judges scored them so low because they knew the global vote would bring SKZ right back up to the top and it would give a huge disadvantage to the other groups. So they did it to add a little spice to the show. That’s my theory. Yay for drama. 9- I really love the next episodes. It’s a nice change! I think the next two episodes will be your favorites as well!! Feel better Jess!! 🥰

As a new Stay I didn’t know much about Kpop but I fell in love with Ateez, iKON and BTOB watching this show, so it’s great to see your perspective. Three of the best performances I’ve ever seen in a single episode, all without an audience!

1. yes i didnt expect him to be so well built already back then, cause ive seen recent videos of him and he is so shredded NOW LIKE HELLO 2. yes im so glad too... it does make a big difference if you know the songs being covered, cause then you can appreciate how much they changed! 3. YES it was soo good, i cant believe they got 5th place in the end. THEY GOT ROBBED 5. did they explain the story of their performance somewhere? cause i would have never figured that out by just watching them perform hahaha 6. AWWW it fits changbin so much, i love how he is always excited, loud and happy <3 7. YES it was so emotional for me because i already was so sad cause of the Survival show... and then him being upset in Kingdom as well, just did the last damage to me aa 8. wait why was SKZ hated in korea that time???? is it cause of hyunjin or?? thanks brandiiii <3333 i always love your comments!!

Ateez doing well most rounds for the expert evaluation and then tanking when it went to global votes always hurts my heart. They were working so hard during this time, the rollercoaster of ups and downs was a lot on them. The next episode is fun though!

BtoB give me very similar SKZ silly energy vibes, which is probably why they get along so well (even to this day) ... they seem to be always having fun and being unserious. Love them. This episode is sooooo good (before the voting), all my fav groups from the show performing and killing it... the interactions between SKZ and BtoB so so so good. Ateez fanboying over iKON and just creating such a crazy addictive new version of 'Rhythm Ta' which such a fantastic concept... and then my 2 fav performances (I know I'm bias) but SKZ and BtoB stole it for me ... BtoB nailed the concept, I love 'Back Door' and Min Hyuk instantly gets bonus shock points for full fan service (who could not fall for that). Stray Kids were amazing in this stage... the vocals, the rap, the emotion, the storyline, I have heard that the story was to convoluted for some (maybe the judges), but I could follow it, and again the whole dark vibe with the sacrife of Felix and all of SKZ giving up their lives to save their loved one (the boy) bringing him back to life was so cool, and very up my ally ... This stage is Iconic !!! The behind the scenes of this episode are so good .. Han actually had vocal nodules at the time during rehersals and was really struggling before the final performance, I am so proud of him, and he got so much recognition on and off the show, this really was a Han, Changbin and Seungmin moment. .... I feel even worse for I.N after the results came in 😭😭😭, I bet he felt it was all on him, and that just isn't the case. ... Same with Sangyeon from the Boyz who was upset after their performance. Stray Kids spoke about this, during their recent STAYweek vlog where they made the MV for '0801' themselves ... (which I recommend, and it was Hyunjin that brought it up, so now we know that he was always there supporting from the shadows and not locked in a JYP holding cell for 4 months)... they said how they felt after that stage but how the stage went viral afterwards and how much STAY loved it and it attracted more fans. They have all come so far, especially vocally, It would be interesting to see them cover this or other BtoB songs again, cause I know they would kill it... maybe on one of Seungmin's 'Song By' episodes.
