Hey guys!

It took me so long to process this video on my editing program because this episode was TWO hours long HAHAH but we did it!

This is probably by far my most favourite episode guys... I told myself to take a short break inbetween to move my legs, get some water etc. but I was HOOKED.

The Mayfly rapping unit was insane, I had so many goosebumps and I kept replaying the whole rap after I finished the episode. Everyone did such a good job. I'm just completely starstruck. They are so naturally good at this...

I thought that SF9, The Boyz and iKON were so cute together. So shy and awkward hahahha

And Stray Kids, ATEEZ and BTOB were how I imagined them to be: chaotic as heck... Their synergy is so natural, it feels like they've been friends for A DECADE. The way they interact with each other just warms my heart and I'm just so glad that BTOB is with them both, seeing Eunkwang scream Changbins name is just too fking good hahah

I can't wait for the vocal unit!! Jongho, Eunkwang and Seungmin????? LIKE HELLO????

I wish there were more series/programs like Kingdom, where groups work together etc. I NEED MORE and I need actual collaborations between idol groups :(

YAY!! I am so excited! I love you for posting this when I have to sit in my car for the next 3 hours while my child is at dance practice. 1. The global vote was a joke. Fandoms came together to vote for other groups to knock SKZ's vote down. The judges voted low because they knew SKZ would pull ahead anyway with the global votes, and it wouldn’t be much of a show if SKZ kept winning everything. It was really a shitty move and showed how toxic K-pop can be. Drama reigns. You hit the nail on the head! Seven episodes in, and we still have no clue how the voting system works. 2. Road to Kingdom is what The Boyz won to be on Kingdom. Pretty much the same show, but the prize was competing on K: LW 3. I love how Bobby is just there to have fun. He has won so many shows at this point that he no longer cares. He wants to make memories and have a good time. Teaching Sun-Woo and Hwi-Young, it's okay to lose as long as you have fun, is the most important thing. Iconic. 4. Chris, Han, Changbin, Hongjoong, & Minhyuk. Jesus Christ. 5RACHA! Chris is a producing genius. Changbin & Han are freaking rap wizards. Their ideas are like no other. Then you add Hongjoong's insane talent to the mix (who is always alone and just thrived in this group). Minhyuk's neck vein was a paid actor. Masterpiece! “Playing with Colours” should have been released mainstream. I’m sad you cannot find this one on Spotify. The votes being 10:23 were pretty impressive. 5. SF9’s Tae-Yang is so handsome. My goodness. DK & Juyeon are adorable too. The little videos they were showing of them dancing (including Lee Know) are the Performance Films for Kingdom. I believe there are only six films, and one dancer from each team has a video. The storytelling for their performance was gorgeous. 6. I really wish we had gotten more behind-the-scenes for Mayfly’s dance unit, but I will take what I was given. Either way, Felix was flying again, and Chris yelling his name was hysterical. Felix PTSD is real. I think what really made this performance stand out was not the dancing, but also the backup track. They sang the whole thing. I LOVE that. Felix and Wooyoung are adorable. The clapping of the ass cheeks was everything.

I love this episode! Mayfly's performance was amazing! I have seen this before but it is so fun watching this with someone and I hate waiting a week for the next performance.

Soooooo I just checked and all the rookie groups (who I had never heard of either) on this voting panel are no longer active 😞... all of them disbanded (or their agency went bankrupt). I always feel odd about the members of 'It's One' who didn't participate in the collab stages... I assume it is to do with schedules (esp for SF9) but it just seems to be such a shame cause everyone who does perform and gets to know the other groups better seems to have the best time... It could also be that these groups chose to concerntrate more on their Group performance for part 2, but still ... it is so nice seeing all the members of 'Mayfly' interacting (other than Chang-sub ... but that was unavoidable).... I feel they really made the most of the expereince and oppotunity, cause it is very rare for these collabs even at award shows. When Sunwoo (The Boyz) and Hwiyoung (SF9) talk about not being able to do the kind of music they love because it doesn't fit their groups concepts ... I felt really sorry for them ... like they were trapped in a concept ... maybe that is why I can't really get behind groups that have really strict images or concepts imposed by their labels, it feels toooooo fake (and I always wonder if the members are happy lol), but that is just me, and I think the Boyz have broken away from that image since then ... at least from what I have seen at award show performances. 40:23 - It is an auto-tune effect/ funtion on the mic. You can tell when Bang Chan used it as well, because when he is talking at the end (1:11:46) he forgets to turn the function off and the first few words sound like a robot lol. 😆 I liked both rap songs, but I felt the same as you, Mayfly was just tooooooo good, their teamwork was off the charts (for all performances) and the message behind the catchy song was impactful and meaningful. For me this was a clear Mayfly win BUT the closest battle for my vote anyway. 1:21:21 - Those were promotional videos for Kingdom LW featuring the 'Main Dancer' from each group... some groups like SKZ and the Boyz used the same theme from their intro performance which they would carry through other stages as well, So Lee Know's dance which is awesome (they are all great) is a very animalistic contemporary routine embodying the wolves from their intro stage. lol - When it comes to jumping and anything martial arts like Felix is great (even now with his back condition he can usually pull it off)... it is making him stand on people that is the issue... I can watch him jump, kick, flip, anything but stand on people lol (I even held my breath when WooYoung climbed up the people mountain) 😆 😆 😆 😆. I love how the Mayfly 'Flying Team' not only did the choreo but also recorded the backing track vocals so it fit their sections of dance, even though they were only lipping on stage and not being judged on it ... soooooo extra LOVE that detail. MAYFLY FOREVER! 'Road to Kingdom' was the MNet show before 'Kingdom: Legendary War' where the winning group earned their way onto this program ... aka 'The Boyz'. The other groups on this Kingdom LW were invited to participate due to their impact in the 'Global' Kpop scene ... The calliber of groups between the 2 shows is very different... I mean you have BtoB and iKON who are legends and SF9 made up of very well known names, and then Producing and performing powerhouses that are quite different from the mainstream K-style in Ateez and Stray Kids grabbing global attention ....The Boyz definietly deserved to be in Kingdom but the difference in the groups they faced off against in RtoK is notable. They had another 'Road to Kingdom' last year ('Ace of Aces'.....whose winner I felt was pretty predictable given the fandom size, but also deserving).....so it is expected that another Kingdom will follow as well .... I keep trying to guess which groups they will have, cause if they follow the same formula I would expect some well known or senior idols to participate. They didn't do this with Queendom ... they just had Queendom and Queendom 2. I can not wait for Ep 8 ... Let's Go!!!

I will say I like Bobby's performance more in many ways, only thing missing was a heavy Bobby verse which we did not get likely because Bobby wanted to let the other two shine, which is respectable but did kinda hurt the performance as he is by far the most technical rapper there

Thanks for the explanation about the programs, haha, I was about to say the same thing. Basically, there are 5 different programs: - Queendom (2019) - Road to Kingdom (2020) - Kingdom (2021) - Queendom 2 (2022) - Road to Kingdom 2 (2024) (so we assume Kingdom 2 will be released soon)

This is making me want to go back and watch the SKZ BEHIND episodes on their channel for Kingdom…I don’t watch them so often because Hyunjin is missing and I get sad, but they’re a great addition to this show

My dream concert would be Stray Kids, Ateez, and BTOB all in one event. Each perform separately and then end the show all together. Wouldn't that be amazing?!?
