Hey everyone!

I've been wanting to watch this for a whole week now, but always remembered when I was in bed and I wanted to record myself so it took me a while BUT HERE WE ARE

AND BOY WAS IT GOOOOOOODDD, I got crazy goosebumps from Liz's and Yujin's singing, it was incredible. They all sound so flipping good and I cant believe i got to watch this. This really is best of both worlds, being an old SNSD fan and loving IVE <3

I'm guessing they performed that song two times, because it seemed to be a mashup? Some of them were wearing hats and then it went back to not wearing anything HAHAHHA

Their singing is rly underrated <3

When word got out that they were gonna cover SNSD's Genie at their fancon I was sooooo excited! As a SONE growing up with SNSD myself and now supporting IVE, it's like my 2 worlds collided. 😍😍 IVE is totally perfect for SNSD songs. Also, yeah it was performed twice since the fancon was held for 2 days 😊😊

ARGH as a huge Sone, this is a cool surprise to see you check this out! I loved Ive's cover too, they really captured the spirit of the song. Is there a chance you react to SNSD too? They had a huge comeback in 2022 for their 15th anniversary with a whole new full album & lots of promotions. There's lots of solo stuff too from the members. Tiffany also confirmed they will comeback in 2027 for their 20th anniversary as well.

They performed on two different dates, on the first day only Wonyoung was wearing a hat & inevitably haters went after her again accusing her and Starship of favouritism. Then on the second day all the members were wearing the hats lol They just edited both Day 1 & 2 performances together.

The legs were legging & the vocals were vocaling, as they should.

Starship for some reason mashed up 2 live performances and dubbed over with the same track recording of the song from one of the shows. I dunno why Starship does this. Regardless, all versions of them singing this are amazing and it took my soul from my body.

Anyone who says IVE cannot sing is just jealous and coping their biases aren't as big. IVE had a very meteoric rise and it has led to some crazy jealousy online from other group stans. But from critics and the general public in Korea ... IVE receives massive love and praise. I hope it spreads internationally as well, especially considering how darn well Yujin can sing in the Western style.

yes IVE is so so popular in korea!! i genuinely believe its the jealousy etc :( the amount of hate the girls get just for breathing, i wish they spend the same amount of time on getting to know them

Ok, so after that they had another comeback in 2017 with Holiday & All Night, a subunit in 2018 Oh!GG - Lil' Touch & then Forever 1 in 2022. I'm sure you'll love it. The solos are amazing too. Hyoyeon for example has a song with Soyeon from I-dle called Dessert.

4 members are 170cm or taller with An Yujin and Wonyoung being 173 (Rei is 170 and Liz is 172). Leeseo is 166 and Gaeul is the shortest at 164.

Reason why the song sounds so good is IVE has been called the second coming of Girls Generation. Their entire discography is very rooted with SNSD inspiration.
