Hey guys!

As far as I know this is the last full episode of "The World Is My Oyster" and I'm so happy I watched it. I like how raw all the scenes are. They showed the very harsh and tough situations the girls are in leading up to the debut and its just good for people to realize that they are just normal people.

What you see on screen is always perfect, which ultimately leads to people thinking that idols are robots too. I really like watching these documentaries, I wonder if there are more of this kind of series but for other groups!

Super respect and you could argue that Sakura is a better pick as being a leader cause she has more experience etc. but at the same time Chaewon is such an incredible pick too and she is amazing <3 much love to them all, they did/do so amazing ahhhhh!!

I'm glad you're feeling better. Thanks for your reaction to the documentary. It was fun, and I really appreciated that you addressed the more critical topics and shared your opinion. Hopefully you'll react to the second documentary at some point. Apart from Le SSerafim and IVE, my knowledge of K-pop isn’t all that extensive, so unfortunately I can’t recommend any similar documentaries, but I’m sure there are others who know more about it. I’m really looking forward to your reaction to the MAMA performance on Sunday. <3 <3

Le Sserafim’s make it look easy documentary is a must after this. I think it’s heavier than the first one since it shows how hard it is being an idol itself, not just before debut.

Sascha

The second season is called "Make It Look Easy" and it also has 4 episodes with a similiar length if you're interested.

If you don't want to start Make It Look Easy and you still want to check out a documentary about a k-pop debut from a different angle, YouTube Originals has a two part documentary about the training and debut of STAYC, who you are just getting familiar with that's pretty interesting. Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkviBNarwQI Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFfcFVLQG-Q They also have some interviews with other people discussing the difficulties of life in the industry and you will see bits and pieces of i-dle in there as well. The World Is My Oyster was so well put together. I agree, it's crazy how they were able to cut so much around Garam. It's crazy. Thank you for the reaction!

OH LOVELY thats good to know! i will definitely do that next <3

Jess

Jess

i know im gonna cry when watching hahah

Jess

im excited for the MAMA performanceeeee!!

Kenpachi

Hut ab! Their perseverance through everything is insane. And the next comeback is just around the corner!

Chaewon often says she doesn’t do much as a leader, but that’s just her being humble. As the leader, she has consistently stepped forward in interviews during every comeback or whenever something happens to LE SSERAFIM (such as the controversy involving Garam) to proactively represent the group and the agency’s stance. Sakura, having stated that she doesn’t want to be the leader herself, plays the role of the eldest sister, warmly looking after the members.

As someone who started watching you because of how much I love LE SSERAFIM, (stayed for how lovely you and your reactions are) it warms my heart how much you love the Fimmies too 💛. As the others said, this is a 4 ep documentary but they have a 2nd one called “Make It Look Easy” that I can’t wait for you to watch too, whenever you are ready. And if you wanna just watch them having fun, watching their own YouTube variety series Leniverse and Day Off! Glad you’re feeling better!

Andy Pizarro

Yeah it is kind of scary how with some good editing they can control the narrative. "There was only five members always" . It's been years but I still feel so bad for Garam. Only recently she opened a YouTube channel.

melog

if u wanna see more of them once ur done w the docus you should 100% check out either leniverse which is their web series, or their day off seasons which is basically them getting small getaway weekends after each promotion period. they’re so so lovely to watch and gen fun

Pacifico Bay

joined to watch this, thanks for reacting! can’t wait for the second documentary 💙

Alex

Hi. Great reaction to this documentary. I know there is a ton of suggestions these great people made but if I could add before you watch the next documentary, Le sserafim Day Off season 1 takes place right after their debut schedule.
