Hey guys!

First time reacting to a Japanese artist and it was exciting!! I mean I knew of YOASOBI already cause one of her songs went so viral, it was impossible to not know of it (I guess if you are an Anime watcher like me haha)

I never knew how she looked like but she looks so adorable and i find it so cool that she brought the band to the First Take performance!

She sounds amazing live, you cant even believe that it is live. It sounds straight out of the studio... and I love how the song is longer than 4mins, I have a feeling that Japanese songs are always longer than what we are used to in the West but also in Kpop...

Either way, this was such a good watch and listen. And to everyone that likes her music, you should check out "Eve" as well. He has similiar type of music and I love his stuff. He has made anime openings like Yoasobi too!

The song you were talking about is definitely Idol, the opening of Oshi no ko S1. If you've never seen a live performance of Idol, I highly recommend it. It's beautiful. There are so many Japanese artists to discover, you have no idea. Haha. As for the audience, I wanted to show you something by Babymetal as soon as I could. As for anime songs, I absolutely recommend you listen to Lisa's Homura (the version on the First Take), but only if you've already seen Demon Slayer because, in my opinion, it has a whole other meaning if you've also already seen the part where it's heard in the show.

The song Gunjo is the anime OP of the 2and season of Drifiting Dragons and the viral YOASOBI song you were talking about was the OP Idol from the anime Oshi no Ko this was so great especially with Choir it brought such different vibe to the song

LISA is also amazing Japanese artist that has done multiple great anime OPs she even did song with Straykids called Socialpath

If we are talking about amazing anime OSTs on The First Take you gotta watch LiSA - Homura. LiSA has so many good anime OSTs. But love Yoasobi's music a bunch too.

I'n glad you reacted to Yoasobi. They are my favorite Japanese group. I've had the chance to see them a couple years ago at Head in the Clouds LA. Just a couple facts to clear up. Yoasobi is a duo group Ikura/Lilas is the vocal and Ayase is the one on the keyboard. He writes and produces most of Yoasobi's music. There music is amazing. Also Ikura and Lisa(Japanese Artist) are not the same person. Lisa is a great singer and has collaborated with Stray Kids and has some First Takes, but she is a different artist. Ikura currently has a great song with Zico from last year. "Duet". Really enjoy your reactions and I will be moving up a tier at the end of the month.
