Hey everyone!

So I first watched the "wrong" Idol performance. Another one was linked to me, but we watched that one after and honestly I'm glad I did.

With the first performance I could just focus on the song. And with the second performance I can just focus on the audience and it was the funniest shit I've ever seen in my whole life.

This still feels like a fever dream LIKE WHAT WAS EVEN GOING ON HAHAHAHAHA

There has to be a term for the dancing or fan movements cause what the hell???? They were tumbling ON TOP OF EACH OTHER, fighting invisible demons, i dont KNOW AHAHH

Honestly made my evening, this was hilarious HAHHAHAHAH

One of my favorites japanese artists tou have to check the song Duet of Zico and Lilas the vocalist is a great song. More songs from Yoasobi that are amazing and that is definitely worth checking shukufuku, kaibutsu, mister, Yuri ni kakeru and they many more amazing songs

There is a term for it.. when people crazy like that and fall into the crowd and get carried around its known as a 'mosh pit' ... it was a big thing in 80s and 90s and i think even early 2000s.. not sure if its that much of a thing anymore though... its more a 'rock or metal band' thing.. you won't see a 'mosh pit' at a pop or country type event for example.

They did a collab with newjeans you might be interested in reacting too as well ; YOASOBI 'Biri-Biri' With NewJeans ASIA TOUR 2024-2025 It was the last performance released by newjeans as well :(

Haha, I knew you'd appreciate it. It was better to have seen two videos so you could also fully appreciate the song. "Idol" is the first opening of "Oshi no ko," an anime that talks quite heavily about the world of idols, and if you read the lyrics after watching the first episode of the anime, it takes on a whole new meaning. The audience for the second video was at a famous Japanese metal festival, and that type of "dance" is called a mosh pit. Mosh pits are usually people pushing each other, so it seems pretty crazy, but it's a lot of fun, and once you know what types of mosh pits there are and know that if someone falls, you stop and pick them up, it's pretty safe. There are different types of mosh pits, such as the circle pit (where everyone runs around together) or the Wall of Death, where everyone splits up and then runs towards each other. As we show you more metal-oriented bands, you'll definitely see more of them in the future. And last thing in Japan phone are not allowed at concerts

Jay Nadiah

yeah older folk who are into rock or metal mosh pits are quite a familiar sight..

Kenpachi

These type of moshpits are usually ascociated with metalcore, deathcore, etc. Not a fan of this specific type of moshpit where everyone swings their arms and legs because people do get hurt a lot in these and for some this is the whole point. Where is this performance from? Seems like a mixed audience where another more heavy gig is coming after and they are just doing it for the lulz?!

Jess

i flipping love it, its such a vibe and lowkey looks so fun hahaha

Jess

i wanna be part of a mosh pit because this shit looks so fun HAHAHAH

Carthez

Ahaha are you sure?

Jess

the performance was part of a festival Dead Pop or sth like that hahah, its a japanese metal festival. absolutely LOVED the vibe

Back in the day it wasn't unfamiliar for members of the band or the lead singer themself to throw themselves into the crowd and get carried around lol :P
