Hey everyone!

I'm in LOVE with their dancing. I know I said this like 1000000 times but their dancing is out of this world. Maybe I'm too biased but I genuinely love their dance style. It's so smooth and precise and doesn't seem/look forced. It just comes off so natural like they've been dancing in their room for years and years!

I especially love the choreography to Supernatural. It's my favourite song yes but the choreography is so FLIPPING COOL. The part when they were standing at the microphones and do jumps and claps and i dont fking know what was so COOLLLLLLLL i feel like a kid rn HAHAHA

Impossible to not dance along... but yeah I've always been a fan of music like this and it's just such a pity what happened to NewJeans.... BRING THEM BACK RN!!!!!

OMG!!! yes!!! supernatural is late 80s 'new jack swing'.. reminds me a lot of bobby browns 'every little step' and the choreo seems to take some inspiration from 'new edition' particularly in using mic stands as dance props which 'new edition' were known for and did in a number of their videos (similar moves as well)... their best performance of it imo is the kgma 2024.. their final performance ever in korea and much like newjeans like doing... the performance actually tells the story of them escaping from hybe and giving a final heartfelt goodbye.. it was amazing! the 2 part video is also metaphor for them escaping from hybe :) AAA 2024 also is one of the best supernatural performance imo

love this performance it's so cooool, one of the performances where i just feel like other groups couldn't pull it off 😔 Jay has good recs above, I'll add the Japan performance collab w/ Harry Potter where they did Supernatural + OMG. They did a bunch of solo performances and unofficial new songs which included a Dani solo song she made with her sister and a duo song with Dani/Hanni! That era was legendary, if only they were allowed to continue 😔

the intro to supernatural also has samples from one of the biggest global new jack swing tracks of all time in 'bell biv divoes- poison' from mid 90's ... check it out in your own time if you like :P

the 1st album i bought with pocket money in 1988 was bobby browns 'dance ya know it' on cassette tape... i was 10 years old... newjeans 'supernatural' reminds me sooo much of the tracks ' every little step' and 'on our own' from that album... literally every genre newjeans do reminds me of childhood up to 20's listening to garage which 'cool with you' and 'new jeans' remind me of clubbing days 18 to early 20s.... they literally hit a real nostalgia vibe that resonates with old people like like me!

To add more to their aura, there is a video of NewJeans being introduced red carpet on pre-award to this show. All the other kpop groups come in, pose, take photos, and leave. NewJeans did it differently 😂

i think thats the reason why newjeans music is just my favourite. I love a lot of girlgroup songs but newjeans hits so well and i guess its also the same reason as for you!
