Hey everyone!

I can't lie I missed the Game Caterers!! I absolutely loved the JYP Game Caterers and now we got the same with HYBE! (I know there is one with Starship too!)

It's so nice to see old and new faces tbh. When I said that Baekho and Minhyun looked familiar, it's because I know them from NUEST omg. It's been so long since I've watched or listened to their stuff so that was a nice surprise!

I also know some names from Seventeen but that's it. I never really got into their music so that's another group I gotta check out soon as well!!

I guess NewJeans wasnt part of it cause they didnt debut yet and also BTS did participate before (?) not sure but yeah

REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT EPISODE :D

Yes, you're right! The PD is Na PD, probably one of if not the most famous PDs in Korea. He is the one behind Earth Arcade for example. For Running Man, Le Sserafim is a guest in ep 693, 694 (these two episodes I recommend the most) and 745 while IVE is a guest in ep 639 and 705

I hope you get to the starship one at some stage. All Game Caterers are fun but, for me anyway, the Starship ones are the best of them

The funny guy from Seventeen is Seungkwan. He appears a lot on variety shows because he's really funny, even when Seventeen weren't really popular! Also, he's not the leader. The leader of Seventeen wasn't there at that time. They didn't send all their members, thinking it would be too many people. Seventeen as their own game caterers, filmed after the Hybe one. It's very funny!!

Something I wanted to add to the JYP version (I just saw your reaction to the last episode), that random dance couldn't be decided on male or female choreo, nor co-ed choreo, so JYP knew he had to go the genderneutral route, which Chaeryeong knows really well apparently. You should check out "Inside Out" by NU'EST, probably one of the best disbandment songs out there. Seventeen's music and performances are top tier tbh, you know the guy from PD48, the dance teacher with the cap on, he is their performance director, which makes their choreos look slick as hell. NewJeans had the whole scandall going on and were basically on HYBE's blacklist back then

"They were under HYBE" just so you know HYBE was founded back in in 2021, so groups like Fromis_9, Seventeen, BTS, TXT and even ENHYPEN were not founded by HYBE. Fromis_9 and Seventeen by PLEDIS, BTS and TXT by Big Hit and ENHYPEN by BE:LIFT Lab (in collaboration with CJE&M, but they got bought out by HYBE later on). HYBE is just the name of several former labels together. To put this in perspective: JYP is now splitting it's label up in different divisions to make promotions easier on the workload. ONE LABEL (SKZ, 2PM, NIZIU and NEXZ), BLU:M (ITZY), Stride (Kickflip, TWICE, GIRLSET and JYP himself), SQU4D (NMIXX), Studio J (Xdinary, Day6), JYP china (Yaochen, Boy Story and CIIU). besides these they also have indipendant labels like EDEN (ALL(H)OURS) and INNIT (DODREE) Conclusion: HYBE is just an umbrella name for multiple companies

BTS is probably way too big to appear on these kind of events, if people got to know about it, they probably would have to quit filming because of fans and sasaengs all disrupting the shoot.

Besides Starship, there's Game Caterers with YG, SM, and SNSD and they're all worth watching. PD Na also did a live stream with Baemon that is one of my favorite content from them. He's pretty famous in Korea and has produced some huge variety shows there. Glad you're getting to see fromis_9. They are one of the best groups when it comes to variety. Their channel_9 series on YouTube is some of the most entertaining self-produced idol content. Would love to see Running Man reactions! If you want I can give you a list of episodes with appearances by girl group members.

The episodes I recommend are Blackpink: 330 (skip to 13:35), 409, 525 Episode 513 because it has Yuqi and Wonyoung as well as a few other idols and it's just a funny episode Ive: 639 with the whole group I also highly recommend episode 162 if you haven't seen it. It's an older episode featuring idols from Girl's Day, 2pm, Sistar, Apink, Infinite, Beast, and MBLAQ. It's a legendary episode and has one of the best openings in Running Man history.
