Hey everyone!

This song was so anime/japanese coded, I loved it <3

I felt like, especially Soyeon's and Minnie's voice fit it so well, because they got this specific undertone in their voice (hard to explain idk)

I'm assuming Shuhua was on some sort of short hiatus? But yeah, I love this song and I think I would have not put it into the 4th gen series because its a clip rather than MV and I'm following this MV only playlist so I'm happy you guys were suggesting it!

I'm literally playing the song rn as im writing this hahaha, it's so gooooooooodddd. I-dle's songs are just so good, no matter if title track or b-side

Neverlandr

They literally never disappoint ♥️

They got a perfect all kill for fate and it won soty in one of the end of the year award shows

Yes, this was in the Killing Voice, you probably know it from that. Soyeon loves writing anime-style songs, but almost always scaps them or they collect dust on a shelf^^ She sang one of those in her lee mujin service called "not enough", which has really cute lyrics, I love the song and hope she releases it at some point... EDIT: I don't think you know Fate, got it mixed up with "Never Stop Me", another very good B-side you didn't react to in the series and got to know in the Killing voice. But yea, it went extremely viral, so you probably heard it somewhere sometime :D

Floyeon

no Fate is not in their Killings Voice. This song wasn´t even out yet, when they did the Killing Voice. The Killing Voice is up to Queencard

Vigilion

You're right! I remember Jess listening to it tho, must've been somewhere else, maybe an award show or something like that

Fate got extremely big in Korea, but they never expected this. It started as just a normal B-Side, they didnt rlly promote it. First Soyeon wanted this to be the title track, but felt like it didn´t rlly suited the image of i-dle and was something completely different, so they went with Super Lady. But then all of a sudden this Song climbed up the charts like crazy. Every1 in korea loved it, which is why the girls decided to at least put out this live clip and started to promote the song on music shows for a bit. They even got 3 wins on the music shows, which is absolutely insane for a B-Side with no MV. Since Soyeon is such a big Anime fan she was so happy to see people enjoy this song and this type of sound, bc she didn´t think people would love this as much as she does. They also received their 4th PAK (perfect all kill) in a row for Fate and even won SOTY at one of the End Of The Year Award Shows. I feel like you probably just already heard this song somewhere, hence why you think u already heard it before, cause it was genuinely EVERYWHERE

Fate was a B side they didn't promote, but it is one of their biggest hits and seems to really resonate in Korea. So they put together this video quickly. It got an all kill, and charted longer than any of their other songs. Shuhua was on hiatus at the time for health reasons.

The thing at the end with Shuhua says "I Hate Being Sick" which is funny because A) she was sick and B) That is the Korean title of the song. When they performed the song on music shows, they had a stuffed toy bear stand in for Shuhua that the fans nicknamed Shubear. It even got its own ending fairies.

Their Lollapalooza performance yesterday was insane. I hope you'll react to it.

The funny thing is, Soyeon has actually written a Japanese song in Japanese called "Where Do We Go." for i-dle. This woman can do it all.

Jess

yes for sure i will!

Jess

imagine having a bside like that crushing everything, im so proud of them!!!

Jess
