FYI she has 3 more songs that are only available on the physical EP, she is just doing pre orders for it right now not sure of the release date. Imagine they will make it to YouTube once released. Love that she is venturing into this alt pop genre. Also get ready, Lisa's lead single comes out September 3rd with an EP in October and Jisoo's single comes out the next day on September 4th with a full length album to follow.

I love your reactions so much. I am so glad you reacted to this so soon. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the notification. lol. To me this MV is just a Masterpiece. I know I will watch this a million more times. I love everything Jennie does. This is so awesome. Also it is a part of her new album. Which if you get it physically it has six songs on it. Her summer has been out of this world. I hope you listen to all the songs. I hope you do an album reaction. please. lol. Thanks again. You Rock.

Loveeee your reactions! The MV I think represents being "fallen" from "heaven" after a breakup, those black and white scenes reversed were all breakup scenes, she is trying to reverse them. And she personifies a literal angel fallen from heaven, looking for a home and love, but her desire for freedom ends up burning the homes she finds. The butterflies she followed (and burned down the house in the process) representing metamorphosis and freedom for me. The frozen blue roses are also super personal, they are Jennie's favorite flowers that her mother gives her every year on her birthday, I see it as her trying to keep them frozen to preserve the innocent love of her childhood. But eventually we see the child who represents Jennie's inner child to me, lead her right into the fire and they reunite, showing Jennie that the savior and the love and the home that she is searching is within herself. She might be "fallen" but she can "turn wherever she landed into a home" and be free enough to "fly" again even under the watchful eyes of the public (which to me is represented by the houses with the eyes surrounding Jennie's inner child in the beginning). The images at the very beginning of her falling into water also givesfurther rebirth and transformation imagery to me, changing through hardships and blooming despite them, tying into the words at the end about the most beautiful roses blooming from sharp thorns and both Jennie and her inner child finding solace within the fire and the nest of thorns.

I would also definitely suggest checking out Lollapalooza - this EP actually has six songs, 3 of them CD exclusives, and she performed 5/6 of these songs (basically all of it except one unknown CD exclusive song we haven't heard yet) so you can get to listen to the entire EP without waiting for the physicals to be shipped at October 30th. Lolla had an official livestream so I am sure you can find the HD videos of her set.
