Hello everyone, this is just a quick poll so I can ask a question to you all. Namely, do you guys prefer first person or third when reading my stories? I personally don't have a preference, but it is a bit confusing to go from writing in first person to third every so often like I'm currently doing with Dragon's Progeny and some commissions.

Depending on the result of the poll, I might go back and edit some fics.

That's all! Thanks for your input!

To be honest I like the way your stories are already written with a mixture of the two depending on the situation. First person is fine when giving the main characters story but third is better for glossing through side characters actions.

Thank you so much for the input! It's always nice to hear from the reader's prospective. I was thinking I might do something along the lines of making the main character's pov in first person while interludes or other povs would be in third like you said. I was mostly asking for Pride Rekindled and Dragon's progeny because it feels a bit harder to get introspection when in third person which is going to be needed as the story's get more into actual plot

That is the way I prefer it, it just seems to make the stories flow better when you can get the information of a side character across without having to flesh them out too much unnecessarily as well.

Well psycho and american psycho was in 2nd but as you know introspection is usually first with a smattering of 2nd if the character is usually a bit unhinged. Have to admit I can't think of any 3rd person introspective writings
