Midweek Sneak Peek (Patreon)

I'm sorry this has taken so long for a sneak peek! As usual, life has been a whirlwind, but I'm finally home and getting back into routine. I'm working on the next installment of the CDAD AU I've been writing. Apart from struggling to find time to write, I've also really been thinking about how, when, where, etc. that pieces of Echo show up in Hayden. Like what parts of Echo were shaped solely by the raiders, and what parts were formed from the trauma of her family dying. And then figuring out how that shows up in Hayden, who's been through significantly less trauma than Echo, but has still been through the harrowing experience of killing her family.

That being said, here's a tiny piece of a conversation where Hayden starts to glimpse ways that darkness might present itself.
