I feel like it just gets better and better. You know something action based as this is going to be epic when there's very little shock value relied on and your eyes are still locked on the screen. Can't wait to see your reaction to episode 3.

This is one of those pieces of media you can tell the producers really really cared about just making a good product, which feels rare in this day and age. That in combination with high budget & production value and you get this.

The thing about the Spanish and Portuguese dividing the world is true, if I'm remembering my freshman high school world history class right. At this point Spain and Portugal were probably the most powerful colonial empires. England was playing catch up with the other European powers, the English colony of Jamestown would not be founded until 1607, and the pilgrims wouldn't land on Plymouth Rock until 1620.

They truly do. I haven't read the book, but I'm hearing nothing but praise from the readers. That they even improved upon certain things from the book, to where it's more historically accurate and certain things make better sense story wise.

Treaty of Tordesillas, defined the western border of the Spanish and Portoguese splitting up the world. It's why Brazil speaks portoguese for example, but why the rest of Latin America speaks Spanish.
