I wanted to try something different this time around and do a reaction with a very special person, Eric Aka Nerdchronic. He has been helping with edits since 2018, and has been a beacon of support to me in so many ways. As well as the reactor verse as a whole. Hope you all enjoy this one!

"AS WRITTEN!!!" Ah so that's what Nerdchronic looks like. He seems really cool. The Dune movies were the only films that I've seen in theaters in the last 3-4 years. They're so good. I never read the books, but my older brother explained a lot to me, and I've watched a lot of explainer youtube videos on them. Shoutout to "Quinn's Ideas" channel for his great voice explaining science fiction classics. One thing that I think is changed from the books is at the end most of the Great Houses side with Paul Atreides when they find out what the emperor did to the Atreides family. I'm curious about why Denis changed it, or if the next movie will show some of the great houses supporting him. To expand on what Eric said about Paul being an Anti-Christ type figure, Frank Herbert the author wrote the books as a warning about messiah figures, or hero worship. Basically the message is don't put all your hopes in one leader or figure to solve all the problems. Also another allegory Frank Herbert intended was that the spice is essentially what oil is for us today. We don't like it but we need it, and we fight over it.
