Yeaaah! Andor's back. This season is getting great reviews. I really liked the episodes they dropped so far. The TIE fighter Cassian steals is called a TIE Avenger, it's a super advanced and expensive prototype according to various star wars youtuber experts. He doesn't know how to fly it because all the controls are different compared to old TIE fighters. Old school TIE fighters are fragile and cheap, this TIE Avenger seems actually really durable and well built. Also it has a hyperdrive engine which TIE fighters usually don't have, the old TIE fighters need a carrier ship to carry them long distances from planet to planet. Correct that's Ben Mendelsohn Imon, he's Director Krennic. He was actually in an episode of The Bad Batch for like one minute. He had 1 line, it was at a secret meeting with other Imperial leaders, it's the story arc where Tech dies. The idiot rebels in the jungle who Cassian realizes are the Maya Pei brigade were mentioned in season 1. Saw Gerrera mentions a list of rebel groups that he hates, In his speech to Luthen he says: "Kreegyr's a separatist. Maya Pei's a neo-Republican. The Ghorman front. The Partisan alliance? Sectorists. Human cultists? Galaxy partitionists. They're lost!" I love how they drop these little story bits over time in this show. Like how they also mention the Ghormans.
