I'm excited for the rewatch. I'm surprised you didn't wait until after Rebels. Fun fact: In the novelization, as K2-S0 is dying, despite calculating their odds of success as impossible, he chooses instead to imagine they succeeded so his last thought was a happy one.

Oh this is awesome, the enthusiasm is great. Still working my way through the movie. The guy Andor meets at the beginning was mentioned in the last episode, he only wanted to talk with Cassian. I think Cassian was going to meet him at the end of the show. Cassian basically pulls a Luthen when it looks like he'll be captured. When the movie came out we thought Saw needed that mask for breathing. But as you mentioned he probably is getting high. It's probably Rhydo fumes he's breathing.

I love that you mentioned Tech in Saw's last moments Imon, YES!!! YES!!! Also around 1:23:25, you're right. Senator Organa was talking about Obi-Wan Kenobi with Mon Mothma. About your confusion, the reason he said "she" is because he meant that he would send Leia to meet up with Kenobi, "I would trust her with my life." Which is what Leia is trying to do in the first movie, meet up with Kenobi and give him the death star plans. I love that Melshi is in this. In Andor we see him training some other soldiers on Yavin, so Melshi probably trained a lot of the rebel soldiers present in the final battle. According to the star wars Wiki "Wookiepedia" those rebel soldiers were "Rebel Pathfinders" aka rebel special forces. So Melshi trained the rebel soldiers well.

Also some fun Easter eggs: -At 1:27:57 for a second there's the Ghost, Hera's ship in Rebels at the bottom of the screen, to the left a little. - The rebel pilots "Gold Leader" and "Red Leader" are in the original star wars movie, the filmmakers took some of their unused footage from the 1970's and put it in this movie. - That one pilot who says "This is Red 5 I'm in trouble" and get's shot down, Luke takes that guys place, Luke is Red 5 in the death star battle. -The little ship that rams that star destroyer and gets it to crash is a hammerhead corvette. I think it's one of the 3 ships that Leia gave to the rebellion a couple episodes ago in Rebels. -The storm troopers in black are called "Death Troopers" they are basically storm trooper special forces.

Fantastic reaction, been waiting for this one 🙂 I didn’t realise you weren’t watching The Mandalorian, maybe a fun idea to react to Ahsoka’s live action intro before starting her show?
