I finally watched Aliens! I loved the first one and this one was just as amazing. Such a great cast as well!

Damn it Imon, I have work! From a quick check I can tell this is the theatrical cut. The special edition establishes that Ripley had a daughter who got old and died of natural causes while she was gone. This makes her connection to Newt even more significant. Sigourney wasn’t pleased that they cut it out for theatrical. There’s a handful of other extra stuff too

The corporate executive stooge guy Burke is played by Paul Reiser who is also in Stranger Things season 2 and 4 as Dr. Owens. Dr. Owens is introduced the same way Burke was in Aliens, claiming to be a nice guy who works for bad people. When Stranger Things came out I was like, "No, Paul Reiser I'm not falling for this again, I know you're the bad guy." But the twist of Stranger Things season 2 is that Dr Owens/Paul Reiser actually was a good guy.

This was awesome! I love these movie reactions. Now, I'm not saying don't watch Alien 3 or 4. But personally I found Alien 3 and 4 disappointing cash grabs. Aliens is how I prefer Ripley's story to come to a close. James Cameron likes using actors that he knows. Hicks was in Terminator as you mentioned, Bill Paxton is the street punk who might be the first person to die by the terminator. Bishop was one of the main detectives in Terminator 1 and dies during the police station shootout. Vasquez played John Conner's foster mom in terminator 2. That actress isn't actually Latina, she's very white. She also plays an Irish mom in Titanic, another James Cameron film. She's in that famous scene in Titanic where she's calming her kids down in the beds as the ship sinks. She's a good actress. The marine Drake with the short blonde hair who you thought was familiar Imon was in The Shawshank Redemption as a really, really bad prisoner. He was also in Supernatural season 5 as the demon Alastair who tortured Dean in hell. It's very possible Drake and Vasquez were in a relationship, whatever the case they seem to have a close bond.
