Now if you don't remember the hellicarrier Coulson repaired was used by Fury in the third act of Age of Ultron. Now why Coulson would keep it a secret. Hellicarriers almost murdered millions in winter soldier. People would not trust anyone trying to repair one.

Jiaying has every right to not trust Shield. Last time she did they were actually Hydra and messed her up. The issue comes when you can't get past your Trauma and become a monster yourself. There was no reason for her to attack him before he did anything. Interestingly Coulson was going to meet her unarmed which means she could not frame it as he attacked her if he went instead. Ward and 33 are also examples of this holding trauma and being monsters. This is a two part finale so very excited to see your reaction. The show really does like to trick you but I enjoy that part. But never trust Ward lol.
