Great season bunch of trauma. Skye has now become Daisy Johnson. Coulson's arc was about his leadership and his secret projects and now he has let other lead their own projects. Fitz and Simmons were going to go on date but now a rock has swallowed her up. What I love about this season is Shield is not perfect but they get called out for it and now Skye has experience that can help them better take care of powered people unlike before.

Seeing your reaction reminded me of watching this for the first time with my little brother and how he kept asking, “how come NOBODY can kill Ward?!” It’s a universal feeling haha.

Coulson getting his hand cut off was crazy lol and I gotta give props to Fitz he really came through and he made soo much progress this whole season he's in the field and working. So much happened

love Fitz's development in this season, when it starts we know he'll never be the same old Fitz due to his injury, but he wasn't even able to form sentences. though by the end of the season he's finishing Hunter's sentences, while working on the computer and in a stressful situation. in the beginning of the season he wouldn't always be able to tell whats real or whats fake, he would see/imagine Jemma when she wasn't there and talk to her as if it was her. Then he started to self diagnose, telling him self Jemma wasn't real and just in his head, that when the Jemma he imagined up had an opinion, he would make a statement like " obviously i agree and all with you being a manifestation of my subconscious." then after some closure with Jemma and realizing its not just his mind that off, Jemma is treating him different like he's a fragile toy to be handled. So Fitz realizes that he'd rather just stick around those who treat him like normal, those people normally being Mack and Hunter, especially after they shared beers, when agent 33 posed as May and attacked the BUS. Fitz even got back in the field, this was especially important because he was back working with Jemma (episode 10) scanning the alien tunnels in San Juan. There he also had to get physical, after his close buddy Mack, was infected with the Kree virus from the tunnels, Coulson screamed at Fitz repeatedly to shoot Mack and put him down with not a ICER but a real gun. Fitz was brought to tears and hesitated but eventually was about to pull the tigger, Bobby then stepped in and knocked Mack down into the 100foot drop where he was then sealed in and presumed dead. later we lose Trip and Daisy changes, and along with that Jemma's mindset shifts to point of extreme xenophobia and saying that everything alien or different should be 'eradicated,' even going as far as changing the non-leathal night-night rounds (ICER BULLETS) into a more intense bullet a more lethal one, saying that its necessary due to these new threats. Fitz by this time knows Skye (Daisy) is different (changed), and after the way everyone has been speaking he immediately goes to Skye and embraces her, tells her that she may be different know but that its okay to be different that she's still the same person, and that she is loved. All the things he wished someone was there to tell him after his injury, instead the team really froze him out of the ends and outs of everything bc they assumed he was broken beyond any form of recovery that would leave him with value to the team. he was struggling with cloaking and Coulson told everyone that he's afraid Fitz cant do anything, that the damage was too great and that he was broken. Fitz proved them wrong this season. I also feel like Macks betrayal made Fitz have a little PTSD from Ward and through it he seems so much more 'hardened' you could say. Makes me think of the episode Lady Siff and the Kree tried to take Skye away and Fitz was running around the whole episode doing his best to help Skye, and by the end he was in a shouting match against the ENTIRE team except May and Coulson, the team angry about Fitz keeping Skye's change a secret and lying to them. Fitz say's " we need to be protecting her, she's our friend," and the team responds, " No, we 're the one's who need protection from her." Fitz was the only one who was able to step into Skye's shoes and see it from her prospective.TRIP IS DEADDD :(
