Oh nice! We're back!!!! The creatures called Blurrg were in Clone Wars and the Bad Batch, the Twi'lek people rode them on planet Ryloth. But they look way different in live action. Hera's people, Cham's resistance fighters rode them when they fought the Separatists and then Empire during the bad batch. There's a bunch of famous actors in this episode, the IG driod was Taika Waititi, the I have spoken guy is Nick Nolte, although I think they dubbed his voice unto that small actor in the makeup. The old imperial guy is famous director Werner Herzog. You've also got the late Carl Weathers from Predator and Rocky.

Couple of references to the infamous holiday special where Boba Fett first appeared as a cartoon. Mando’s electro rifle is based on a similar one Boba used. The mythrol mentions Life Day, a wookiee holiday that originated from the special Word got around about Han being frozen in carbonite and taken by Boba. So other bounty hunters started doing the same RIP Carl Weathers A few things this show introduced you’ve actually seen before, mostly in Bad Batch. Bounty pucks and chain codes. They’re caled pucks because Dave Filoni is a hockey fan Dr Pershing is wearing the same kind of outfit and patch that the scientists on Kamino wore in Bad Batch Seeing so many mandalorians in the first episode was a big surprise. Only the main Mando was featured in the trailers and marketing This was the first time we came back to the mandos after Rebels. To see a bunch of them were underground, hear that something called the Great Purge happened and during that imperials collected beskar, was very troubling. And also intriguing this apparent custom of not removing their helmets when they were doing so freely before Blurrgs were shown in both Clone Wars and Rebels, ridden by Cham Syndula and his fellow twi’lek fighters. They looked a bit different in animation. I had actually completely forgotten that when I first watched this IG droids had a reputation of being very dangerous in Legends. There was one in the bounty hunter lineup in EpV, IG-88, who this droid is commonly assumed to be. We never got to see them in action outside of games and Clone Wars, but this really showed how formidable they can be IG-11 is voiced by Taika Waititi You may not realize how significant Grogu is. He was not in the lead up marketing AT ALL. We had no idea about him until this episode came out To see a baby of Yoda’s species was one of the biggest mind blows of my life Filoni and Favreau. The big duo of this show Kuiil the ugnaught is physically portrayed by stunt person Misty Rosas in animatronic mask im pretty sure and voiced by Nick Nolte
