I like that scene when Fern sees that her staff is fixed and she remembers what Heiter said about Frieren, that she struggles to understand emotions. But it's a good thing, because it will mean that Frieren will worry and care about her that much more. My favorite scene is when Himmel tells Frieren about how they first met. He was lost in the forest and for the first time he felt loneliness. He said that when he first met Frieren she seemed cold hearted. Frieren being who she is, and being alone for so long would find it hard to connect to him using words. Instead she uses magic, a spell to create a field of flowers. The music "A Sunrise Worth Seeing" is playing and Himmel tells Frieren that because of her, for the first time in his life, he thought magic was beautiful. This is the scene I always remember the most. The artwork, the music, it's beautiful. There's a video on YouTube you might like to watch when you're done with season one.
