You seemed to be describing "cause & effect" rather than Determinism. There is cause and effect of everything everyone (or anyTHING) does, but it's not necessarily DETERMINED by some all-knowing being with a grand plan. You do something and it sets things in motion, but those things aren't, necessarily, planned. Probably because others are also making choices that affect things that overlap with your things. A LOT of "things" going on.😁 All those "things" going on and overlapping means the outcomes are undeterminable, a.k.a. random because the outcome of all those things also has to do with timing. If you do the same thing a second or two after you would've before, everything, subsequently, could come out differently. It's cause & effect, but not planned or determined.
