Season 2 I am not kidding actually. Have you even seen it? It's leagues better than S1 and the story has explored so many themes that AoT hasn't. While AoT explores it's Geo political themes ReZero S2 explores a lot more personal ones. The writing is very impressive and if you disagree I am not sure what to tell you.... I'm also not sure what your tastes in anime are or how familiar you are with writing structure.

Yes Re zero was amazing at 13 episodes, at the end of the year jujutsu will also have 13 episodes out. AOT will only have 4, I love AOT but it won’t be anime of the year THIS YEAR.

I mean that's what it looked like. Not trying to bash or flame anyone but people get really excited for good animations and cool fights and think everything in that regard is Anime of the year. It takes more than that usually to claim a high spot
