The Zaheer moment reminds me of when Scott gains the power of self respect

I've always agreed with Firelord Izumi's decision here. The Fire Nation dragged the entire world into a war for over 100 years, and making them once again initiate a fight (since Kuvira didn't attack any non-Earth Kingdom territory yet) wouldn't exactly look great. Kuvira probably could spin in around and say the Fire Nation is invading again, getting even more EK citizens on her side.

Is 4x8 missing for anyone else? Both the clear and full reactions are missing for me.

Sad we're not seeing their reaction to THE QUEEN OF THE FAERIES, but happy we're getting these ones sooner

I'm slightly sad they skipped the clip show, but it's understandable. I personally loved it. It was Korra's version of the play from ATLA

Think Ember Island players had a LOT more character writing than this clip show did tbh, and the context with which it was told didn't make it feel like a clip show at all in ATLA. Think a few extra scenes and a few cut ones + a little more production value could have elevated the whole thing massively. But obviously this time they made it because of completely different reasons (budget) so it's totally understandable

Yeah and theres no real indication that Kuvira has any intention of taking her army outside of the earth kingdom since her entire goal was just the unification of its territories
