Haha it's funny Imon talked a bit about Re Zero and Subaru. The authors of both Re Zero and Konsuba are very very good friends irl and apparently they even came up with the ideas of their series together when they were hanging out one day. And they ended up going in completely different directions (Re Zero being darker and complex, with Konosuba being light hearted and comedic).

F'n eh Imon you just made my friday night. I've been suggesting Konosuba for awhile now and I am so happy to see you reacting to it. This anime is by far one of my favorite go to animes for comedy.

I've always thought of Konosuba and Re Zero as two sides of the same coin but I did not know that. Thanks for the info dude, it was much appreciated.

No worries! And I guess that's the reason they also have both of their MCs wear tracksuits lmao. Also, more info, if you've watched Mushoku Tensei, the author of that is also friends with Re Zero and Konsuba's authors. They all hang out a fair bit.

No. They've just decided to do some shows solo but they still do some together.
